It was around $2.69 and then on the news they showed places with $3+ so they all jumped up to $2.99.

I just worked out petrol around here is $7.33 per US gallon. (96.9p/litre)

Good job I don't pay for it. Tongue

It reached a high last Summer at 99.9p/litre for unleaded in my area. No one seemed to dare go over £1. I drove up North somewhere and it was 127.9p/litre ($9.62/US Gallon) for super unleaded. Shocked I filled up the Jaguar when we had it and it cost about £55 and that's when petrol was cheaper than it is now.

Well, to the UK's credit, as well as much of the rest of Europe, the price of petrol/gas subsidizes sustainable transit. Unfortunately in the US is barely subsidizes the highway network (the Trust Fund is going to go bankrupt in the next 5 years), and more so pads the pockets of Exxon Mobil.

In just under 2 weeks i will know if my evil plan has succeded.

If it does i will be more than happy to share it with all who are interested.
I tried it on a whim but thus far things are moving smoothly  evilhappy

Also awesome thanks for the heads up Smiley(i won't be able to buy anything anyways)
I had started a running sales/special deal thread in the gaming forum before but it never got stickied and other people would just post special sales info in random places anyways.

Seems a shame to not have all that useful info in on place.

And Shopto.net are selling PS3s for the low low price of £360 (How ironic) for this weekend only.

I can remember when it cost us $40 to fill up our Suburban, but that was back in 1997.  Keep in mind that this is a car with a 45 gallon fuel tank.  If we still had it it would cost about $150 today to fill it up.

I picked up a can of Red Bull instead of beer but thought I may as well use it up having opened it.

Now I'm not tired.

Just drank a monster about an hour ago.

I had a monster a night or 2 ago.
I tried monster kaos (i think is how they spelled it) it was pretty good. Tasted more or less like monster OJ.... i think.
It was a really really long night. I can't remember for sure.

Today was my b-day Smiley
I got Hllsing boxset and went out to eat and saw Hot Fuzz(not as good as i hoped).
Both sadly and amazingly the most eventful birthday i have had in a long time.
