Aren't then doing something similar with fiber optics?

Not sure, but I'd be interested to read about it if you have a link.

I say something about that on Star Trek Tech on the History Channel. Very cool!

Well, I will have to return my Award "I Live Here Most". Sad

Starting Monday I will be working full time installing and maintaining security systems in the Pittsburgh, PA area. It's over an hour from my house, but I do get a company vehicle. So the three nights a week I have school I will be away from my computer for approximately 17 hours! I'm going to miss sleeping in till 8:30. I will still be active here at RF, but I will no longer live here.

You know those "top 10" videos usually suck and from time to time I watch the odd one with mild disdain just to see what games they showcase. Then to prove a point they show a clip of 2 dogs f@cking where the male pukes all over the place then starts licking it. What bearing that has on gaming who's to say. Every single shred of professionalism that screwattack.com may or maynot have had left just disappeared. no yuck

Man I feel that today. I was up until 3:45 playing games and got up at 7:30. Normally that's not too big of a deal, but I'm working 8 am to 9:30 pm today.

I don't miss at all the 13 hour days, except my doubles back in the day ranged from 15 to at worst 21 hour shifts. Only had one 21 hour shift from hell. I certainly miss the money associated with long hours and 65 hour weeks, but having a regular schedule is nice nowadays.

I'm on salary and normally at work M - F 8 am - 7 pm and Saturday 9 am - 1 pm. Sometimes I end up working up to 4 hrs a night on top of the normal hours and Saturdays can be as long as 14 hours.
