I have a job appraisal tomorrow morning to see if they can get rid of me. The manager directly above me is trying to keep me and my friend on because we're the only ones who know how to hold a knife.
(*Late night rambling ahead*)
I work in a community centre where they give jobs to people to "get them back on their feet". I've been working there for two years. They've got funding problems now so they're moving people on and replacing them with less people who have never seen an oven before. As it is, on my shift (Thursdays) there are the head chef (my direct manager), me, my friend and a dish washer. I'm not sure how they can cut labour costs much more than that. The head chef does all sorts of work around the community centre and it's usually left to me and my friend to do all the cooking. They've also put prices up so no one eats there at lunch time. We used to do 70-80 meals in a couple of hours at lunch time but now it's down to 30. I used to have a prawn sandwich and a can of coke for 70p and 40p. Now it's gone up to £2 and 50p. It still isn't much but I'm not going to spend 1/4 of my weekly pay on food and transport. The bus is £2.50.
In other news, I uploaded 94 Master System scans tonight.

I feel like I've achieved something there... and yet it's not quite 100.
