The World Cup is a lot like Canadians and their hockey; when someone scores a goal, it's like the crowd has one, big, collective orgasm.  I bet it's awesome.

And those Aussies LOVE their sport, don't they?  Soccer, curling, swimming, POKER... day-um.

It's better in person if you're surrounded by hundreds of thousands of these guys (and gals).

All of these pictures look like they are all watching rugby not footy. The one at the JJB and the one with the lasses on definatley are.

Anyway I see the US got hammered today off the Czechs 3-0. Reyna played well for you in the middle and Beasley did OK other than that they didn't seem to offer much.

Also, don't know if any of you guys know, bu where's Freddy Adu. I thought he was supposed to be the next big thing but I don't even think he was on the bench.

Anyway good look in your next match against Italy  Cry. We're playing Trinidad on Thursday and better put up a better show than we did against Paraguay at the weekend.

Ronaldo was awful yesterday as well as most of the rest of the Brazil team. Kaka was good though.

Just listening to Spain piss on the Ukraine at the moment.

No the US still have two more games if they don't get a result from their next game, which is against Italy, they'll be out.

By the way Italy were quality the other night against Ghana, so it isn't looking too good for your boys.

England managed another win last night against Trinidad and Tobago.
2-0 Crouch and Gerrard. Still not playing very well but we are confirmed through to the next round.

That save that was made by the player who was not the goalie was amazing. At least I think it was in the England game.

And another glorious victory for the Dutch team! Woo! Now we have to face the brilliant Argentines. I'd be very surprised if we'd win that, but I don't think it's impossible.

The US vs. Italy match was bullshit! That first red card against the US was just a fucking make up call for the red against Italy. Roll Eyes

What a joke

I thought the US were brilliant against Italy last night, when they went down to nine men I thought they were going to bottle it and get hammered but they stuck with it and really should have won because the offside decision for Beasleys goal was a dodgy one. Anyway good luck in the next match against Ghana, win that one and the Czechs lose to Italy and your through to the next round.
