Is it one backwards compatible CD for use with both systems? Or was it two packaged together?

Finally passed 100 Gamecube games, which is my 6th different console to do so.

Number 100 might was Incredible Hulk Ultimate Destruction. That might not seem very special, but its an important one for me. I'm a big Hulk fan and I've wanted this version the most since I like getting all my multiplatform games on the Gamecube whenever possible. I've been trying to get one of these locally for about 5 years now and passed on at least a dozen copies that were all missing the manuals. So many excited moments turned sour. Really happy to end that search.

I just hit 200 PS1 games, making it the second system for me to hit 200 games for. I don't go for complete sets, only what I want so it weeds out a lot of the filler.

Also just hit 250 PS2 games, first system to hit that mark for.

finally finished cleaning all the games on 1 out of 3 shelf units!! i've been working on this on and off for a very long time, it's slow going but i've been chipping away at it. the only games i didn't clean were ones that i know i'll replace at some point (usually just the case) so i didn't waste time on those. NES, SNES, GC, Wii, Wii U, PS1, PS2, PS3 are all cleaned now! next up is N64 which is the entire 2nd unit, then the rest of the consoles are all relatively small on the third unit.

I know we mostly focus on actually acquiring games around here, but I feel like this counts as a milestone as well:  For the first time since I started collecting, my collection has finally reached a point where I feel the need to clear some of it out.  I used to keep every game that I got my hands on, even the most worthless of old sports titles, but now I simply do not have room for it all.  For the past couple of weeks, I have been pulling some less desirable titles off of my shelves and will start selling them off soon.

My collection is probably at 1200-1250 unique titles now (I have a box full of undocumented Atari 2600 games, hence why my collection is currently at 1170 on RFGen).  When this is all said and done, I'm hoping to have that number down to ~1000.

Always a milestone when you can start focusing on quality rather than quantity. Wink

Speaking of quality, I traded in some unwanted hardware and doubles at East Coast Gamers. (Go there if you have the chance, they're awesome) It amounted to enough to get Link to the Past. (actually I was a dollar short but they gave it to me anyway  Grin) So I completed my main series Zelda set.

You need a copy of Wind Waker as well Flee

Not to mention The Zelda Adventure, The Faces of Evil, and Wand of Gamelon. Can't be a true Zelda fanboy 'til you have those timeless classics in your stack.

Totally, eventually I'll get the toon styled games as well. ...And hopefully the fever dream styled ones too.

This is not a very concrete milestone, but my collection has grown to the point where I resell at least 3/4ths of the games and hardware I buy at yard sales and thrifts, because I already have those particular games and hardware.

On another note: it likely won't be long before I take on the quality-over-quantity attitude, and start culling my own collection of the "dead wood," as it were. Might actually free up some room so I can navigate the hallways again...
