Congrats. Crabby!  I'll have to live vicariously through you, as my collection will always be padded with Famicom imposters.

Though it pales in comparison, I did pick up a non-TMSS Model 1 Genesis.  After picking up Metal Storm, it was my most sought item.  One finally walked into my local shop, and then I walked right out with it.

What a game to be number 3000. I have been searching for it forever, I passed it up at 17.99 in High school and have been regretting it ever since.

I just looked it up. Why is it so expensive over there? It's pretty cheap here in PAL land...

The only idea that comes to mind is a combination of rarity and demand. The show has had a cult following ever since it was first aired and has still only gained momentum. I wish I knew more about why certain games fall where they do, if I did, I would be a professional game flipper and quit my job. ha ha

Yeah I've been looking for it forever too. I've got an xbox version, but this is the first PS2 version I've ever seen.

I haven't even seen an XBOX version before. My 6th gen order of operations for multi-system releases is GCN, PS2, and then XBOX, so I always look for the PS2 version over the XBOX for games not released on the 'Cube. Sadly, Futurama was only released for the Gamecube in Europe...otherwise I might have got it closer to its release in high school.

Arcade cabinet number 1 acquired.   I have a feeling I want more and I have the space to put them in too.  This is gonna get expensive.

Hey now!

Three milestones attained with today's pickups:

- 2400 pieces overall
- 2200 pieces of software
- 100 PSP games

The latter includes international releases; I'm presently at 93 North American PSP titles. PSP is the seventh system in my collection that I have 100+ games for, the third PlayStation system, and the second portable system.

Well... I only have 557 games, from NES to PS4.

I took these pictures the past week (some of my rare games) and while it doesn't seem much compared to some collections here, for me is a milestone.

I am planning on taking new pictures of all my games.

My stack is a bit more modest, just 773... so far. But with the yuletide approaching, it's definitely gonna ramp up in the next couple months...  xmas
