I was reading an article over at gamesarefun.com, and it seems that Interplay is pretty much done for.  They apparently haven't been paying their employees or paying insurance claims that they owe, in addition to hundreds of thousands they owe in other debts.

Back in the day, these guys used to be one of the biggest-name developers around.  Sad to see them go, even if their appearances recently haven't been quite as good as they were long ago.

You might remember us reporting about Interplays dire financal straits. Well Interplay is fighting back: they've openned their doors again after being shut down by California's Department of Industrial Relations for two days.

Adding to Interplays problems France-based developer Titus, Interplay's majority owner, declared bankruptcy last Monday. Interplay offcials state that this will not affect their company.

They should do a Final Fallout, and hope that it saves the company like Final Fantasy did for Square.
