Wal-Mart had this kicking around for $35 and I remember enjoying it in High School when Sci-Fi re-ran the show s I grabbed it. I figured since it came out to under $12 a season it wasn't a bad deal.

Very cool pickup, going to see if I can find one of those myself.

Friday the 13th the series is so good. I remember watching it late at night with my mom growing up. I have all of the seasons as well on an older DVD collection.

I think I watched a lot of episodes from the first season and that was it. Fun show to watch. Did you ever watch the Nightmare on Elm Street series?

Fair warning:

It's an old show that wasn't exactly shot for "high-quality" viewing with a lazy/cheap digital conversion on top of it so while it's not horrible, it still feels like an old TV broadcast instead of a proper DVD.

My Wal-Mart has some good deals ($10 each) on DVD sets of Toon Disney stuff right now and I ended up getting both volumes of Darkwing Duck

I also got a couple cheap BRs recently

I picked up a handful of samurai movies from the Criterion Collection.  These movies are usually prohibitively expensive for film snobs, but there is a sale at Barnes and Noble right now, so I had to make the impulse buy and go for it!

Kagemusha
Seven Samurai
Three Outlaw Samurai
Yojimbo
Godzilla

Just a heads-up, the sale has been extended for a week and ends August 14, 2017.

Yesterday's find. I saw this on the store's website as being in stock there, but they hadn't even put it on the shelves yet. Tongue

More Video CDs... Apparently Indian, yet they are in English.

They show the max retail price on the rear of them:
Rs. 199, Rs. 299

Just picked up the complete (mostly) Rhino release (and one bootleg set) of the G1 TransFormers show for $15:

Now I can thrill to every wonderful moment of Megatron yelling "YOU FOOL, STARSCREAM!" to his treacherous subordinate every five minutes...

...Megatron and-- well, pretty much everybody else-- smacking Starscream around like the little bitch he is...

...and-- best of all-- Warpath's near-crippling yet highly entertaining Tourette's syndrome.

If y'all don't hear from me for several weeks, you know the reason why.
