Hey guys, today the wife and I decided to go for a drive. It started out as a scenic trip and then turned into a video game shopping spree.

We started out in small town PA and ended up hitting a toy and hobby shop. There I only found one game: Starfox 64 for $4.

Then we went to a bigger city and saw Toys 'R' Us from a distance. 20 minutes later we figured out how to get there and decided to hit it up for its Buy 2 Get 1 Free Sale. We ended up picking up 5 DS games, because one was Buy 1 Get 1 Free:

Over the Hedge
X-Men
Freedom Wings
Dino Master
Princess Natasha.

Those games set me back $74.17.

Then we decided to go the mall across the street and hit up EB Games for their Buy 2 Get 1 Free Sale. There we picked up 3 DS games:

Snood 2
Hi-Hi Puffy Amiyumi
Pac Pix (I already have this game but will exchange it for one that I need later).

Another $26.69 spent.

After a lot of walking and a lot of game buying, we decided it was time to head home. On the way home, we saw a Barnes and Noble bookstore which I mistakenly thought was a Borders Bookstore thinking games would be 75% off. I realized my mistake, my wife called me a moron and we kept driving.

During the long drive home, we were driving by a K-Mart. This was the dialogue that ensued:
Me: "Look, honey, it's a K-Mart."
The wife: "Yes, dear. Would you like to stop?"
Me: "Well, I guess... if you want to. <sigh>"

An hour and a half later, and 2 shopping bags full, this is what we got:

PS2
Enter the Matrix
Soul Caliber 2 (x3)
Athens 2004
Siren (x4)
Destruction Derby Arenas (x2)
MLB 2005
World Championship Poker
Karoake Revolution Volume 2
King of Fighters Maximum Impact
Splinter Cell (x2)
Taiko Drum Master with Drum Controller

GAMECUBE
Dragon Ball Z Budokai 2
Mario Golf Toadstool Tour
XBOX
Mech Assault 2 Lone Wolf (x3)
Enter the Matrix (x2)
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (x4)
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
NBA Street Volume 2
Simpsons Road Rage

GBA
Mario Pinball Land
Zelda: The Minish Cap

Keep in mind, every single one of these games is sealed and brand new. Everything listed here cost me $59.59.

If you've been doing the math, overall I ended up paying $164.65 for 43 games. That's an average of a whopping $3.83/game! And only 4 were used!

Here's a couple of pics from my finds:

The cats had to get into the pics, huh? Smiley  How much was the shit at K-Mart??  I went to our K-Mart yesterday and nothing!!  They had a few DS games on clearance for $10 or $15 but the fiance' and I figured not worth it.  How much was the stuff?  I might have you indulge in some games for me;) (Go buy some for me!)  That must be the missed call I got yesterday...

K-Mart is SOOO hit and miss, as is it's ugly sister Sears...some have sales while others don't.  Plus, NOTHING seems to be priced right.  And if you ask an employee to check some prices for you, it's as if you asked them to do long division....

Very, VERY nice haul there, my friend!

Some good prices, and of course a nice addition to your NDS collection!  Are you going to play all the games or keep some of them sealed?

We are honestly playing most of them.  They're way too fun to keep sealed.

How do you get stuff so cheap from K-Mart, I stopped there today and RE4 was still 49.99.  I couldn't find a single game that was cheap.

That would never have been approved by the female who walks around this house (I have to sneak most stuff in), but nice finds anyway.

Who cares about the games when you have cats?
In all seriousness, that is the most amazing haul I've ever seen that involved hitting big-time stores. I never would have thought to go to K-Mart.
Still, though. Cats, man. Cats are the perfect pets.
