there were a couple of games on the system that looked interesting (back in the day), but the software support was seriously lacking in order for me to ever purchase one.

I like the TG-16. I recently got 2 games from shaggy that I'm anxious to try. Side Arms and Legendary Axe. I've played Keith Courage and like that one as well. The only other non-sports games I have are China Warrior which is kind of lame and Tricky Kick. Tricky Kick is a nice puzzle game.

One thing that sticks out to me about the TG-16 and I think could have contributed to its lack of success is the package art. The TG-16 had some of the worst, unimaginative package art I've ever seen. A lot of it is really quite boring. It's a shame because the games are not.

I've never played one either.  I remember seeing it in magazines back in the day, but I was already satisfied with other consoles back then.  If I manage to come across one in Europe I'll definitely pick it up as I enjoy 16 bit games, but chances of coming across one here seems pretty slim to me.

I'm still trying to get my hands on one.  Back in 1990 I think it was, legendary axe was game of the year according to Player strategy guide.

I only have a handful of games for it (8 I think?) but all of them rock.  Except for Impossimole.  That game sucks out loud.  The games I do have are Bonks' Adventure, Legendary Axe, Final Lap Twin (Damn original game.  It's an RPG where you race cars instead of fight), Side Arms, Neutopia (Excellent Zelda Clone), Impossimole (ugh...) and I think I have a few others.  Can't remember right now.

I always want to buy more games for it, but I hate paying Ebay prices for them, and I never see them in the wild.

And I have a copy for sale Cheesy  I like the Turbo Grafx-16.  It has some pretty cool games.  Splatterhouse anyone??  The CD add-on had some slick games, too, like Y's and Beyond Shadowgate.

Just to confirm, was the TG16 part of the same console generation as the SNES and Genesis?
