I downloaded this movie, thinking it was great. But now I've seen it, I can't say I like it. In fact, I quit watching after 40 minutes. It was just too boring.
I understand it was all pretty cool 35 years back, but is it still good today?

Even 35 years ago it was boring. It just had good special effects for the time. 2001 is one of the few movies I have fallen asleep watching.

Did you download it legally?HuhHuhHuh?

I thought that it would have been much better if the movie had ended right before the LSD trip (when all the colors appear).

And yeah, its boring, but is very quotable among fellow nerds and people named Dave.

It's legal to download movies and music here, because you're allowed to make a private copy of most copyrighted material (exeptions are software, and probably some other stuff I can't think of now). So yes, it was legally. The person that uploaded it was acting illegaly though Wink

I just started watching this movie and was just about to doze off when my sister and a couple of her cronies threw me out of my room so they could play Sims.
Back to the movie. The first few seens were   horribly drawn out and bla bla bla...whew this is as boring as the movie.

You bring me on an idea, maybe the film is less boring if I take some LSD before I start watching it. Wink No the film is too slow, the only mistake from Stanley Kubrick.
