Yeah, Sears and Target can both be great for games on clearance but they are both VERY hit and miss.  You have to hope no one involved with the mark downs is into games because if they are, they buy stuff up and put the rest on hold for their buddies.

I think I was the guy you hated when I worked at Target many years ago.  I would definitely buy the games when they went on clearance, keep a few and eBay the rest.  Of course, I wasn't really into collecting at the time like I am now.  Nor was I part of a community like this so I think if I was working there now I would offer them on here first.

Best Buy was giving this stuff away free yesterday: Pokemon Preview guide with a comic inside, wrapping paper, and a sticker book (bottom).

Target is offering its exclusive Skylanders Giants lightcore triple-pack of Eruptor, Prism Break, and Drobot for $19.99, originally $29.99.

Oh, and they've got a buy-one-get-one-50%-off on all Nerf toys. Perhaps it's time for me to expand my arsenal...

That's cool.  Too bad I already bought them separately. Tongue

But... but don't you want to have all the variations as well?

And here I thought you were a real collector.

Now I'm totally bummed out...

If the characters were variants most definitely.  I have the draw the line somewhere and I think packaging is it.  Now if it's a game variant (Cart, Disc, case) then I might go for that. Cheesy

On thinkgeek they have a lot of stuff on sale right now and free economy shipping with no minimum.

I had to grab this light switch as a Christmas gift for a buddy. I wish I could afford one for myself right now.
