Little late, but TRU is having amiibos at 2 for 22 today only. Which is also the day before wave 2 officially releases. ha ha Little mac, Luigi, and Zelda drop officially tomorrow, and Captain Falcon, Pit, and Diddy Kong are being released officially on the 30th due to "Region-wide distribution issues". Still haven't seen Marth, Villager, or Wii fit trainer at all...and Donkey Kong, Kirby, Samus, and Fox are still missing and haven't been restocked at any of the major stores in the Denver area.

Donkey Kong, Kirby, and Samus are all over down here. All of the Wave 2 figurines are out except for Zelda.

Zelda and Luigi are all over Best Buy and Target around here. I started seeing them in stores on the 14th. I really just want Little Mac when I can get him. He will actually see gameplay up to 50 the soonest. The others can wait. Best Buy and my local stores have started taking them as trade ins, so I should start seeing them used soon. Gamestop announced they weren't accepting them at all though, which is disappointing.

Nintendo World Store has been restocking Marth, Villager and Trainer so there is the possibility of them repopulating store shelves too.

I wouldn't be shelling out excess cash on them just yet.

I am FAR too cheap to be doing that. But I have been worried my chance came and went for some of them simply because I waited one paycheck to shop for amiibo. I really only wanted a couple to start with to learn how they work...like Marth, Little Mac, Mega Man, Meta Knight, and the Duck Hunt Duo. The whole situation is screwy. Certain stores already have certain 2nd wave amiibos, others don't, Nintendo doesn't seem to want the profit that people are stealing from them online, people are going nuts online for the rare ones and even the wave 2 amiibos not yet in their areas, and none of the retailers have an answer to any questions about release dates or pending stock.

local game store is having a boxing day sale, if you see anything you really want from here and are willing to cover shipping out of Canada then send me a PM and i'll pick it up for you. some of the modern stuff is really cheap, like some $10 PS4 and XB1 games. some stuff isn't really that great of a sale, but i'm definitely picking up Luigi's Mansion for myself if i can get it.
