Through Sunday, the Microsoft store is offering a minimum of $10 trade in for any PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 or Xbox One game you bring in.  Yes, even 5 year old sports games.

I went to Gamestop and bought Rock Band 2, FEAR Files and DJ Hero for a total of $6 minus the pro membership discount and then used two games my wife bought me from 5 Below that I already had and got $50 in credit which I used for Metro Redux and Watch Dogs for XBone.

There's a maximum trade in of games per person, but that's per store, and you also have to use it towards the purchase of a game..  If you have more than one in your area, you should be able to clean up, especially if you have someone that can trade in games on your behalf.  I'm dragging the wife out tomorrow.

I found out about this yesterday. I'm heading to my local store tomorrow and bringing friends.

I just found out I live reasonably close to two stores... one near home and one near work. Gonna see what I can do with this...

I've turned it into Metro Redux, Watch Dogs, The Wolf Among Us, Shadow of Mordor and Assassin's Creed 4 for around $20 in games from Gamestop and $10 in tax.  It's been pretty good.

I didn't go that crazy, though with a little effort it could have been a real cleanup.  I got gtav, dragon age inquisition, and Wolfenstein.  I was thinking about getting a few more but this is plenty for now.  Really good deal.

Some retailers are marking down Super Mario 3D Land.

Target has it for $21.99 and likely has it in store.

Sears has it for $9.99, mostly for price matching.
