Your collection is about as pathetic as anyone else here.  From what I see it's spread out over a wide selection of systems.  That's always a good start.  Dont worry about numbers, be more interested in what you want from each system.  Numbers dont mean you apreciate what you've got, just that chances are good you've spent alot.

I like the basement room, and how you have everything hooked up.  Unlike my setup where I have to dig for a half hour to find a system and hook's.  Then dig another half hour to find the games, and by that time I no longer want to play.  I'll drop you a PM about some atari 2600 games I'll throw your way for nothing other than shipping.

If by pathetic you mean having 13 systems and 140 games, which is 12 systems and about 120 games more than most normal people then yes, you can call your collection pathetic.

Looks good.  It's really not that small. It's more games than I had when I started out and way more systems than I had.  Hell, I still don't have a Sega Master System.

I know how you feel.  Parents just don't understand.  My mom yells at me every time I bring home a new game, but it just makes me want more.  But, there are worse things to collect, I just saw a kid on TV who collects vacuum sweepers, now that's just crazy.

Good start man. I really need to get a separate area for gaming.

My mom didn't mind the games so much.

But when i started bringing home displays i got an eye roll.

Then when i had about 8 of them i started getting a "if you bring home anymore i'll throw everything away" so i had to leave them in my car till she wasn't home or bring them in via my bedroom window and tossem in my closet lol

My parents just about had a cow when I brought home nearly 70 arcade boards.  Cheesy

... And even better, the only reason they didn't get thrown out is due to all of the work required to do so.  Grin

My setup is going to go through drastic changes after the holiday season, due to the sheer amount of games and money (for games, of course) i get.

Stuff I know I'm getting:
Sega Genesis 2
Sega Cd 2
Sega Saturn 2
Sega Master System

with the money, I am planning on buying a game gear and at least 1 game for each system i own
