and you haven't seen the original Planet of the Apes? put it on your "to see" list, it's a good one. now the 4 sequels? they pretty much sucked though not as badly as the Tim Burton/Marky Mark suckfest.

I have been meaning to see it for a while.  The thing that's hard for me is I like movies from (almost) all genres from way back to the beginning (1898 or so is the oldest I've seen) all the way up to the present day.  At only 19, it's hard to catch up on 100 years of cinema from so many countries in a very short period of time.

good point. I've had 17 more years of movie watching time than you. well try to fit it in in the next couple decades, you'll enjoy it.

I liked the movie. Was it filled with all sorts of plot hole? Sure was but I take it for what it is worth.

If I want a science lesson I will watch the Discovery Channel or read a science book.
