The problem is that Nep and I have the same title, so he'd get it too.

so I guess I'd be Denny Ramone, that has a nice ring to it.

for anyone who is a Ramones completist pick up Joey Ramones solo album "Don't Worry About Me". It doesn't have the same punch as the early Ramones stuff but it's got some good tunes on it.

it's got a couple cover tunes on it as well. Satchmo's "What a Wonderful World" which strangely was also in Disney's remake of Freaky Friday with Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan. the other one is the Stooges "1969".

the Ramones have done a lot of covers, "Needles and Pins", "Surfin' Bird", Take it as it Comes" and I'm sure I'm missing some more.

their album Acid Eaters is all covers and is awesome I might add.

they just rule. the Ramones is all I've been listening to lately.

Yeah, it's definately the best sounding so far. (apart from Marky of course, but I suppose that would be cheating).

They also covered I don't wanna grow up, do you wanna dance, let's dance and I'm also sure I forgot a lot :p

I was looking at the biggest record store in Utrecht last week, and they had Marky Ramone's solo cd and Dee Dee ramone's solo cd, but not Johnny's. Dee Dee's is supposedly hilarious, because he's rapping on it. I've heard one song of the album and it's definately ridiculous. Not good enough to buy the cd though.

I think some people are purposely not posting in here so they don't get Ramonitized.

To bad the guy handing out the "honors" isn't part of the team. He thinks he is above the Ramones. He thinks he can just hand out thier greatness to all those below him and laugh at them from his stoop high above us all.

It's impossible to be above a Ramone, so I'd be below you, offering you my humble help in achieving your spiritual high.
