Do people really have loyalty to their colleges? Just curious, because I absolutely hate mine and I almost wish it would fall into the sea. Then again, if the mascot wasn't a "penguin", I probably wouldn't wish its demise so badly..

I like my school, but hate its location.  I would be perfectly happy with it if it were in Cincinnati, or at least less than an hour away.  This school would greately benefit from being in a large city, and it would save me a lot of money if it were in Ohio.  But other than the location, I have no major qualms with the school, except it seems to be the only school in which legally drinking in the dorms is not allowed.

Oh, and I stumbled upon this, if anyone is interested: http://www.shannonigans.com/purdue/
Cary Quad is my dorm, fyi.

Not me, I just went to mine because it's closest. I guess people that pay a lot for their university are more loyal. If only not to look silly for paying that much.
