Well, this last Saturday was VERY good to me.  In the morning I went to a flea market and got the following for $50

A boxed Magnavox Odyssey 2 with all system documentation
Alien Invaders - plus! - complete
Armored Encounter/SubChase - complete
Baseball! - complete
Blockout/Breakdown! - complete
Bowling/Basketball! - complete
Freedom Fighters! - complete
K.C. Munchkin! - complete
Monkeyshines! - complete
Pick Axe Pete! - complete
Speedway/Spinout/Cryptologic! - complete
UFO! - complete
War of Nerves! - complete

Everything in the above lot is in absolutley perfect condition.

Later on that day, I went to EB Games with one of my friends who was trading in some games for Halo 2.  When I got there I found
Vegas Stakes (SNES) - Sealed
Space Invaders (SNES) - sealed
Tetris & Dr. Mario (SNES) - sealed

The total for those games?  13 bucks.  But it doesn't end there.

One of the games that my friend was trading in was Xenogears.  They were only offering him $10 for it, so he asked me if I wanted it for 15, which I of course accepted.  So for the day I ended up with a new boxed system and 16 games.  I haven't found this many games on the same day since Gamestop stopped accepting 16 bit games.

Other than it's a gambling game, I don't know anything about it either.  I just picked it up because it was sealed and they only wanted $2 for it.  Eventually I'm going to go out and buy some loose copies of the sealed games I bought so I can play them.  Once I do that, I'll let you know.  Wink

I have a sealed copy of Rex Ronan: Experimental Surgeon.  I was so excited when I got it that I built an underground lair to protect it from the thousands of burglars I knew would show up at my house upon hearing the news of what I now owned.

Thank goodness it is still safe.

Yeah, I normally don't collect sealed games unless I either already have a loose copy of it somewhere or it's a game I don't think that I will play much.  The games I got are all common, so I won't have a problem finding them loose for cheap which is why I bought them.  That and I'm always hoping that some insane sealed game collector will offer me huge amounts of money for them.  |D

I hate hearing that people will buy a sealed game then open it.
If you don't want it just turn around and sell it for a profit. There are plenty of people who would like to have sealed games in there collection (like me).

Yeah, the good thing about buying sealed game is that you're the one that opens it. No use having a game you can't play.

Dont tell me it was anything pre SNES that you opened. Even pre-Playstation is bad enough.
