Turbografx Dilema

Here is my dilema... My Turbo Grafx collection currently stands at 57 games with jewel cases and manuals. Up until today, I was perfectly happy collecting just jewel cases, but I found a lot of approx. 10 games with the outer cardboard boxes in excellent shape. Do I keep collecting just jewel cases and sell these off for a nice profit? Or do I keep them for my collection and start collecting the boxed games and sell off the unboxed duplicates? Right now, I am leaning towards keeping the boxed games and selling off the unboxed duplicates. What do you suggest and why?

Agreed. You do have a nice TG-16 collection, but think about how
much
[/i] nicer it will be with those outer boxes.
Good Luck!

Yeah, I am going to keep the boxed games. It is going to drive me crazy to have a mixture of both for awhile though. Check out the finds thread to see the list of games I found and thanks for the advice.

Keep collecting jewel cases primarily, but replace them with boxes if you happen to find one.
There's no need for your collection to be either entirely jewel cases
or
entirely boxes. It can be a mix of both

This is the same problem I have with 3DO. I got that big score fo games awhile ago but they were disc only. and I have a lot of ones with jewel cases but without the big box. Then I have all my big box ones. I hate the way it looks but I will never find those orphan boxes.

I have a similar problem with my 3DO, Saturn, Sega CD and long box PS1 games. The long boxes look odd when put together with the jewel cases. What I did was just put all the long boxes together and the jewel cases together. Rather than having it go long box, jewel case, jewel case, long box, etc.
So if I were you I'd sell the duplicates in jewel cases but keep the unique stuff (regardless of what kind of case it is in).

I'd say go cd case if you after a complete collection. Seems alot easier and quicker.

I would keep them until I find one that has the outer box and then sell the duplicate.
