The last picture is great. I like that the moon is the only thing you can see in the sky.

Close-ups of the earth from far away.  Worth checking out.

I've downloaded the photos off my dad's camera. Some of them are a bit old.

A Mini on top of Mount Eden in Auckland. Cheesy

Same time and place, these lights rays are incredible!

This is most likely lens flare but I think it's great how the beam ends on those people, as if God is talking to them.

I've taken a picture like that once myself. It was in Italy. The whole sky was covered up with clouds except this one bit. It was at the sea and the beam just hit a ship. Cheesy

(Similar to that last picture, only the beam was a bit bigger and it was definitely a real beam and no lens flare)

This is why Obama was the right choice. You'll never see McCain doing this.

I have discovered the joys of the Google Street Map thing and have been looking around New Zealand.

First Link

It's a viking boat in Dunedin.

This one here. It's in exactly the same place. Cheesy Different angle, though.

This vet was near the motel we stayed in. They had a car in the shape of a big, pink cat.

A Ford Transit.
Boring on the face of it, but I saw someone reverse a car into this exact van! laugh

A Motel - where we stayed in Wellington.

Wellington view. This is the exact spot where I got THIS panoramic shot.

I could go on for ages. Tongue

Awesome!

The third picture looks a bit like a CPU up close and the Las Vegas one is very nice...the streets aren't that organised here.

Now we can prepare a robbery without doing some recon at the scene first! Technology never ceases to amaze me.

I can't help but fear that one day things will go terribly wrong again and because of all this "awesome" technology we'll loose our privacy completely. Undecided WWIII, I guess.

Phoenix is even worse.  You can go on for miles and you wouldn't know you've moved.  See for yourself:

That's a bit creepy! Shocked

That city looks like it hasn't evolved organically but that someone just "put" it there. Like they were thinking: "well, we need a new city here; let's start drawing out all the streets on a map 100 years in advance".

Those bigger streets (Highways?) give it a chess board feel though, which is pretty neat. Smiley
