Michael Crichton died

Meant to post this a couple days ago when i heard.

Apparently he died of cancer that he had been "hiding" or so the 5 second blurb i caught on the news said.
Really sucks he was a great author. I was also pretty surprised i hadn't seen or heard anything else about it over the next few days. Maybe i was watching the wrong stations?


Anyone else fans of his works?
I own almost all of his books and have read about half of them.

I was sad to hear of his passing.  Wrote some of my favorite books.  Jurassic Park, Congo, Sphere, Eaters of the Dead.

I read an older version(printed in the 60s so maybe the first edition?) i'm curious if more recent editions are different.

the version i have is copyrighted in 1969, i picked it up at goodwill for a buck.
