I think the nostalgic feelings of these systems muck these types of polls up. I love my Nintendo and Sega, but they can't hold a candle to the PS2.

PS2 was alright, but pound for pound the SNES has more of my favorite games and has consumed much more of my time. NES would be second and why is Genesis even on the list..

There have been previous rounds in which the Genesis won, including the semi-finals. So it's only natural it's in the finals, too. Smiley

The NES gets my vote. I've never liked the SNES, and I only bought a PS2 late last year so I haven't spent much time with the system and I'm pretty surprised the Genesis made it.

Ps2 by a freaking mile. Don't be blinded by nostalgia.

I voted for the NES. And no, nostalgia did not factor into it.

Voted for the SNES.  I have much love for the other systems.  SNES got my vote due to the sheer volume of enjoyable RPG's.  I spent many a *sick* day playing FFIII, Secret of Mana, Earthbound, and Chrono Trigger.

SNES for me.  There are many great games that I still LOVE to play on my li'l ole SNES.  But the PS2 is a close second with all them great games and compilations.

Its a three way tie between the NES, SNES, and the Genesis.  One person could be the tiebreaker of all tiebreakers here... Tongue

The votes are skewed.

9 + 7 + 9 + 9 =/=33
