What do I find sitting in a cabinet? Brazilian Famicom games, unpriced. Anyone know what the going rate for one of these is? They're on hold for me right now until they can price them, but I doubt they'll find anything reasonable.

If they are the standard pirate fair, I'd say $10 tops. If they are Brazilian and Famicom format they are probably produced for some modern clone. Most Brazilian NES games of the period were NES cartridge shaped. I'm interested to see what games they are when you grab them.

Picked up some SNES stuff. A 25% discount makes $5 games much more painless at $3.75 each.

Doom
Ys III
Hyperzone
The Incredible Crash Test Dummies

Something rather funny, my new copy of Ys III is the 4th game I have that was once owned by some Hinojosa person, the other 3 being F-Zero, Raiden Trad, and Gradius III. The man has good taste.

Thanks for giving me a reason to post an owl picture. It's been a while. Smiley

I can hardly wait to see what response you'll post when I find some more XBox KotOR games...

You are wrong in that aspect, sir. The Nintendo was not officially licensed in Brazil until the early 90s, and Brazil made many Famiclone consoles before the Nintendo NES arrived with its 72-pin connection. Playtronic had the official license for Nintendo, however. Here's an interesting page with some information on CCE and the NES:
http://www.atarihq.com/tsr/nes/brazil/brazil.html

The titles were Contra [R4], Jackal [R5], Green Beret (Rush 'n Attack) [R5], and Northern Ken (Fist of the North Star) [R5]. DP Rarity Scale used.

The Phantom and its black NES carts was the one I was most familiar with, interesting to read about the 60 pin famiclones. I've seen plenty of 72 pin Brazilian and Latin America carts online, but don't recall seeing any 60 pin. I've watched this Venezuelan NES pirate sit on GameGavel for quite a while for $8, but no one seems to either be interested, or willing to trust the seller: http://www.gamegavel.com/....cgi?show_item=0000597206

Had a fun little day today. Found a couple free games while cleaning out a house for scrap, and bought a HDTV 720p CRT for $15 from Goodwill (replacing one of my SD tubes), and the following games:
Galaxy Force (SMS) CIB - $6, fantastic shape, looks like new
Tomorrow Never Dies (PS) - Free
Virtua Cop (SS) CB - Free
Battle Arena Toshinden Remix (SS) - loose free
Boulder Dash & Duck Tales loose (NES) - $2 each.

Boulder Dash is spoken for, but I've added Duck Tales to my sell/trade list if anyone is interested.

Battle Arena Toshinden kicks ass! It might just be my favorite fighting game ever!

Galaxy Force? I presume that's not one that you're getting rid of.

It's a keeper for me. Just too beautiful to let go.

I picked up two CIB copies of Mario Kart 7 at the flea market for $35.  Gonna see if I can flip one on Craigslist for $30.

Also, I picked up a free PS2 memory card.
