Oh, and I was at the Essen Motor Show last week, where I took this picture of his bigger brother. I never really noticed how incredibly similair they are. Especially the nose.

Arr, I was wrong the first time.  It is the SLR.  (I changed the post accordingly.)  The one thing that bugs me is that it is a convertible, and the SLR is not as far as I know.  The image could have been the prototype though.  

Not sure if you can say that the SLR is the bigger brother, as the SL65 AMG has more torque and 4 more cylinders.

Most states here don't require one in the front. Ohio does, so I'm sure the local dealer would put a plate holder on the front of it for you. I would venture to say that half the people in Ohio dont even have a plate on the front of their car, and in Kentucky and Indiana, it is not required.  It would kill the look of that car.

Yeah, but the car is sold outside the USA too . Here it is compulsary. It's big and yellow with black letters.

And it does look different from the car on my picture. The engine outlets are shaped differently  and the mercedes logo is deeper into the nose. I guess either one of them is a prototype.
