Oh man, I wish I could help you on that one.  Those are near impossible to find outside of eBay, and even then they almost never show up.  My only suggestion to you is to keep your eye out on eBay in strange places, because you may get (REALLY) lucky and find an auction where somebody just thinks they have an ond LaserDisc player that's not worth anything.  Sometimes those end up having low BIN's and are in other categories besides video games.  You probably know all of this already, though, if you're looking for something like a Halcyon.  Other than paying full price from a collector (which probably wouldn't be *too* hard), you're just going to have to get luckier than anyone I know.

Where might I locate such a collector? (If I find myself less lucky than anyone you or I know Smiley

I only know of one collector for sure who definatley has one, but he might be kind of hard to find as he seems to have dropped from the community.  Also, I don't think that he would be willing to sell his off.

Good luck on trying to get one man!  If you do find one, be sure to let all of us know.

It was a VERY short lived laserdisk system.  Only two games were released for it;  Thayers Quest which is a Dragins Lair type game and Dallas vs. Washington (I think) which was a football game that used actual footage from an NFL game for the game.

I think it retailed for around $2000 dollars when it was released back in the early 80's.

Thing reminds me of a VCR.
I can say i have never seen one of those.
It is big enough that i would have noticed it.
I will be on the look out for it. If i can snatch one up out of the store i will only be asking a few thousand for it.

But seriously good luck on your search. Sounds like you have alot of work cut out for yourself.

Too bad the thing wouldn't be very good party entertainment.  There aren't exactly any Mario Party or GoldenEye clones out for it.
