Antigone by Sophocles.

That's pretty heavy.

It was meh.  I like Oedipus better, seemed to have more plot detail to it.  Antigone was more like you're dead, now you are, and now you, etc.

You taking a classics course or just reading for pleasure? I wish I had gone into classics sometimes, although I don't think I could deal with learning three languages, all of them dead.

I'm reading Post-Captain by Patrick O'Brian and The Great Shark Hunt by Hunter S. Thompson.

Nah, its just for Senior English, which starts with some Greek lit, then on to European stuff.

I haven't read a book out of will since last school year. I have started 2 'out of will' books, but haven't finished them. I think I just am getting lazy, or not having enough time, or both. Tongue

I am now reading: I Am Jackie Chan - My Life In Action - Jackie Chan
Jackie Chan wrote a book? (Or let a writer write one for him...) I didn't know that.

Talking of Jackie Chan, there is going to be a film with him on TV today...uuuhm it's *flees to Wiki to find title* AH: "Mr. Nice Guy".
Haven't seen this one yet although I saw most (80% maybe) of his movies. I'm excited Tongue

This was a great book. It got me interested in his movies again. I've got a few DVD of his more recent movies and a bunch of VHS of old stuff still to watch.

Just finished Shock Value by John Waters.

not sure what's up next yet.

The old stuff is fantastic. However, unless by new you mean Supercop new, his new stuff blows.

Does anyone else read books constantly, remember plot details and characters, but never remember the author?
