When the concept of nostalgia came up in the episode I was reminded of this article from Euro Gamer.

I noticed an audio editing glitch around 1:45:00. It seems to go back 15 or so minutes in time.

I blame Duke for trusting me with editing.

That wasn't a glitch. It's just that they like talking about retro games so much, it created a temporal vortex that sent them back fifteen minutes so they could talk about retro games all over again. Simply put, they've built a flux capacitor right into the podcast, with the required 1.21 gigawatts generated by all the hot air from their conversation. At least they're using green energy...

Anyhoo: while I appreciate Bil's sentiment after the 1 hour 21 minute mark about me hosting the "Secret Santa" next Christmas, I'd much rather do my own thing. And my own thing takes up enough of my time and effort; I'm not too keen on adding to an already unwieldy Yuletide workload. In fact, one of the RFG powers-that-be gave me the award of "Not-so-Secret Santa," which is what the holiday give-away will be called from here on in. And I already have a few things set aside...

And in case anybody cares, you can find a little more info on the "resting place of the Triforce" discussed at around the 1 hour 51 minute mark by clicking the link (heh) below, and scrolling down to "The English Camp Trail" paragraph:

Note to Duke.Togo: if I find another CIB KotOR II in great condition, I'll letcha know, and maybe we can talk turkey. I take it you're looking for the original release, rather than Platinum Hits? Also, are you still looking for the original release of Luigi's Mansion for GameCube?

Finally: I think the title for the next CollectorCast should be "A Molopoly of Aquadrons."

Pretty catchy, yes-no?  Wink

If the price is right, I'm interested in KotOR II, and yes, original. Luigi? Eh, I'm still not convinced. It would have to be cheap.

by the way bil, what were you eating during the show?  I'm going to guess it was a peanut butter banana and pickle sandwich

I was late one night and Duke andCrabby were waiting for me so I had to eat on the fly.  I don't remember what I was eating. I just remember trying not to sound like I was eating.  I did a bad job.

I think it might be time bust out another fanfic.

Funny.....up until now I didn't realize those stories were "fiction".......hmmmmm

I'm pretty sure it was Soylent Green.

Lets go back in time and take this is a completely different direction than the last few posts took it.

I bet Bil has this movie for sale on Lazerdisc.

And to clarify something Bil wondered about in the podcast but has probably forgot about and will make no sense because I'm not going to say what it was he was wondering about......it is the red one Bil.
