Had a decent score yesterday. Went into GS looking for a few WWII fighter pilot games for Wii and grabbed 3 games for around $8 with the Buy 2 used get one FREE sale. I've always had a soft spot for tactical air combat games (non-simulation type) since playing Wings of Fury on the Amiga as a kid. Green screen monitor FTW!:

WWII Aces (CIB)
Blazing Angels (CIB)
Guitar Hero: Aerosmith (CIB) - not a big Aerosmith fan, but there are some other tracks on there that the wife and I enjoy, like The Clash and The Cult!

Last Friday's score from the same store.  Not sure why all these rares keep showing lately because it's been dead there for pretty much 6 months but hey, this is why I keep going.

The complete Lunar packages is awesome if you're looking to upgrade. You get a cloth map, soundtrack, and hardcover manual.

Sooo awesome.  I think I kept collecting them just to get the extras (including the "Making of" disc.  Very groovy.

I have a Star Trek TNG mug at work that I sip Earl Grey tea from while sternly look at people.

I picked up a menacer 6 game catridge for the Sega Genesis that was CIB for two bucks today.

I made a post in the ebay topic about my ebay purchase of an atari 7800 with some games.

I also picked up an atari 5200 with 8 games for 60.00 bucks. All the games are CIB.  One of the controllers does not work at all, and the other one might as well be since the orange buttons don't work which you need them to play any game apart from Pac-Man. The analog sticks are pretty fluid though, I kinda like them.

Anyone know of any good controllers that are not the ones that came with the system that I would make good replacements. I already tried to tinker with them, to try and fix them, but was not successful. I would much rather replace them with something more reliable.

a few weeks ago I found a pretty much mint condition NES Beetlejuice game "CIB"  at a Salvation Army thrift store.  I think all their games are priced at $2 or $3. Snatched it up, took it to the register, and she said my total was 27 cents (25 + 2 cents tax) because she thought it was a VHS Beetlejuice movie I guess, and movies are a quarter.

ehhh, it's in the living room and don't feel like getting it and taking a picture, but you all know what an NES game box looks like anyways   Undecided   (maybe I will add one later if I figure out how to add photos)

Ah the 5200....my old nemesis!!!!  (http://www.rfgeneration.c...-Not-Breaking-Up-1706.php)  Seriously though, if you are looking to get those buttons to work, the fix can be quite simple. Take the controllers apart and take a pencil eraser and carefully clean the contacts behind the buttons. This method has been known to work pretty well. I'm not aware of any real replacement controllers, since the system had a rather short life and the keypad made them tough to duplicate. Good luck. Smiley
