Stinger was a birthday gift from my roommate.
Gargoyle's Quest II was a birthday gift from me to me. (This also completed that trilogy/subset for me)

Very nice on the Gargoyles II. I need to get myself something for my recent birthday, but I haven't decided what to get yet! Haha

Ok I should stop trying to find PS2, Saturn, and anything Nintendo related. Then I might randomly run into goodies for cheap like I seem to have been doing with the OG Xbox for the last year. I really don't care about finding much for the system right now, but I keep finding stuff for cheap. $5 Conkers and Stubbs, $4 KOTORs, now $4 Battlefront II. This is also one of my favorite couch multiplayer games. When I lived in the dorms this was 2nd on our rotation behind Halo 3. Many a drunken Mos Eisley battle was had.

Knocked a few more things off my "to find" list.  I wasn't expecting the 3rd thing though, nor was I looking for it.

-Pokemon Gold&Silver guide was $4.99
-Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain was $11.99
-Super Robot Taisen OG Saga (unfortunately only loose) was $17.49

This stuff came in throughout the week via Leaptrade and eBay. I saved them for tonight because of the obvious common theme. Happy Halloween!

That box is beautiful.  You picked the correct color of Retron 5.  Super jelly.

Super jelly? What is this? Does it have strawberries and raspberries?

But yeah, Retron 5. Cool beans.

Sauza12 pointed out, in the Hot deals and promotions thread, Amazon was selling cheap games. Taking advantage of that, I got Cooking Mama and MLB 06 for
$1.78 total. There were a ton of sports games for ~23 cents each. The only one that I could be bothered to pay even that much for was MLB because baseball games are under represented in my collection, post NES era.

Assassins Creed II was from a game store, it was $8. A friend in Japan who works as a translator, said he liked English RPGs because they are good language practice for him. I've picked up a couple games to send him for Christmas already, have another on the way, and would like to pick up at least one more. This is kinda fun, buying games as gifts, I get to spend more per game  Grin     Oh, and I realize Assassins Creed is borderline RPG on a good day, but hey, it's a great game.

The rest are from that thrift store I go to just to throw money at. I pretty much buy all the games they have (except the ones I own, are sports games, or are little kid games) This time they had a ton of games I already have but did walk away with a good selection of PS2 stuff and Luigi's Manson, for $1.99 each....

....and, because I wanted to get on the soundtrack train TheBoss is on, I got that Perfect Dark CD, which I'm listening to as I write this.

I thought that Luigi's Manson was CIB until I started cleaning off the myriad of stickers from the box and looked closer:

I'm confused...is that food?

Out of context quotes are so fun.
