I got me some extra spending money for my birthday, and this is what that money got me:

All of it is thrift store finds, except for the Monopoly games, both of which came from eBay.  The Wii was my favorite find of the bunch, and the system and all accessories work beautifully.  It's found a good home right next to my Vii, and so far no blood has been shed, nor have any lawsuits been filed.  Tongue

So, I sniped this TMNT III NES Boxed from ebay for 45.00.  Pretty happy about it because I now have a completed one of my goals of having all the Silver Konami NES games boxed.

Nice score!  The only problem now is, you own complete copies of the wretched Top Gun games slick

Now I'll never be done.
Honestly though, I noticed they would be cool to own. Might come back to those, later.

They have their flaws, but usually when I play, I put on the Top Gun Soundtrack, and they are much better

@Fokakis79: Those silver boxes are awesome.

Thanks, I am pretty proud of myself, I think this one of the first major collecting goals I have finished. Most of the time I procrastinate, and then I change to another goal and forget about the previous one. This took me about a year to complete. I am glad I got to  finish this one out, with TMNT III.

Oh and would like to pickup Noah's Ark  for the NES at some point, it looks pretty awesome.

I would say this makes a great goal for any collector, because the subset has so many good titles in it.

Now I am on to two other goals Tengen NES subset and Sega Genesis Black Box Grid, both I am going CIB

Hey now. I know I've been away from small scores for a while... sorry 'bout that. Before I play catch-up, however:

Never seen the Rayman VHS before. Cool find.

^ Yeah, seen the others plenty (and own them). The Rayman one is pretty cool though.

Also just noticed Banjo is a variant.
Don't think i ever had the Blockbuster Exclusive one.
I had TRU, K-Mart, Funcoland, other exclusives though.(Not necessarily for that tape)

Oh hey, so it is...I have the TRU one at home.

The DK64/Jet Force Gemini tape is a K-B Toys variant of the mail-in version I already own.

ADD IT TO THE DB ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't tempt me.

NO, DON'T ALLOW IT-- not until the end of April, that is.  Tongue

Did you seriously position Wario like that?

Wario does what he wants when he wants.
Apparently literally.

F*CKING-A, B*TCH!

More like, "F*CKING A-10," amirite?

All right, now that we're all caught up, it's on to the main event:

- Various game guides, $2.99 each

- Atomic Purple GBA, $4.99

- CIB Tales of the Abyss and Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness for PS2, $2.99 each

- Issues 1 & 2 of Freddy Krueger's Nightmare on Elm Street comic magazine: A most interesting non-vidya pickup.

- CIB Didj Sonic the Hedgehog, $2.99: my first Didj score.

- Prima LoZ: Phantom Hourglass guide, $2.99: finally picked one up that had the poster still attached.

- CIB New SMB Wii and XBox Music Mixer, $2.99 each

- Various gaming magazine back issues, $0.29 each

- more back issues, $0.29 each

- BradyGames Game Design guide, $2.99

- CIB Dragon Quest Monsters 2 Joker, $6.99

- Sealed Monty Python's Complete Waste of Time, $7.99: Still has the original price tag.

- CIB Final Fantasy III for DS, $9.99: Included a little bonus.

- PlayStation 2 Network Adapter start-up disc with game demos, $2.49

Time for a little international intrigue with a CIB Japanese Eye Toy Play game and camera combo for PS2 ($19.99), and a sealed PAL Spanish Smurfs game for PS1 ($2.49).

- Sealed Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War, $1.99

- Gex 3 and NFL Blitz 2000 GBC carts, $2.99 each

- Japanese Yu-Gi-Oh: Duel Monsters 5 Expert 1 (AKA Yu-Gi-Oh The Eternal Duelist Soul), Munch's Oddysee, and Klonoa: Empire of Dreams GBA carts, $3.59 each

- CIB 25 to Life and 007: Quantum of Solace for PS2, $1.99 each

- Cobalt DS Heavy withTron Evolution DS card, $14.99

- Bagged Japanese Princess Peach plush, $3.49: still has the tag attached.

- Back issue of Bloomberg BusinessWeek featuring everybody's favorite social justice warrior, Anita Sarkeesian!

Moving on:

- Two CIB DualShock PlayStations, $19.99 $15.99 each

- NES Advantage joystick, $9.99

I got on a Zaxxon kick, and turned to eBay for a sealed Commodore 64 cassette game, loose BanDai game-&-watch-type handheld, and tin logo sign.

- CIB Dark Cloud and Nightshade for PS2, $0.95 each

- CIB Phantom Brave, Sega Genesis Collection, and Sonic Mega Collection Plus for PS2, $1.95 each

- CIB Silent Hill 2: Restless Dreams and Star Wars KotOR II for XBox, $1.95 each: Hey Shadz, is this my first KotOR pickup of the year? You're still keepin' track, right?

- CIB Mario Sports Mix, Mario Kart Wii, and Lost Shadow for Wii, $5.95 each

- CIB Ace Combat X: Skies of Deception and Baten Kaitos, $1.95 each

- Sealed Parasite Eve, The X-Files, and Uprising X & CIB Grand Theft Auto: Director's Cut for PS1, $4.99 each

- Sealed Mouse Hockey handheld game, $4.99: Whattaya think of this one, Bil?

And now, the ultimate pick-up of the young year:

With the acquisition of the light-element and dark-element adventure packs-- along with Trail Blazer-- I can now access all the areas in Trap Team... and I will. Then I'll level-up and power-up my army to the max, crank the game to nightmare difficulty, and make Kaos my b*tch. It's what he deserves for making Glumshanks suffer so much. Until then, however...

Neither did I until I found it earlier today. BTW I'm not all that surprised that Radica put it out; they were known for releasing handheld games with novel motion-controls built into them.

I got a nice bundle of controllers and games from GrayGhost81 in our last trade:

Also picked up Calling and MediEvil.  Calling must have had a reprint because it's been $20 new on Amazon for a little while.  Used to go for a lot more than that.

How is Splatterhouse on the PS3? Came out pretty big, but I didn't hear a lot of talk after it did. Nice MediEvil, you're going to enjoy it.
