I have no clue what this game is, but I have a copy of it, so I might as well play along.  Count me in!

If the game is roughly 5 hours long maybe a speedrun would be a good achievement?

Existing speedrun is just under an hour. I'd say under 3 would probably be a good starter, possibly under 2.

Has anybody else been playing this?  I played the first few levels and still don't feel like I know what this game is about.  I went into this playthrough blind with no prior knowledge of the game.  Before playing it, I thought it would be a 3D platformer, then right after starting it I thought it would be a sidescrolling shooter similar to Mega Man, but turns out it's a 2D platformer.  At least, that's my impression for now.  It could change yet again after another level or two.  Wink

I found the first couple of levels really boring since nothing really happens and it's mostly just tutorials.  It got better with the next couple of levels though.  I'm still only half way through the first world, so I feel like I still haven't seen much of what the game has to offer.  Controls take some getting used to, although I'm sure the clumsy N64 controller isn't helping, but I think I'm finally starting to grasp it.

I played last night and made it to level 2-2. I'm still trying to get a grip on the controls and am having a bit of a problem with elevating my jumps after grabbing onto the face/ball thingys. Yeah, the story is kind of quick and without a lot of familiarity with the controls, I seem to be leaving quite a lot of gems behind every level. I did enjoy the boss fight with the worm though. Smiley

At this point, my goal is to playthrough without achievements in mind and come back for those after I get a better handle on the controls.

I will go ahead and say that the N64 is not my favorite system and as a result, I'm very new to the controls. I'm interested to see how this plays out for me and hope to gain a better appreciation for this game and the system as this playthrough moves along. Smiley

I spent a little bit of time with this last night.  I'm still not quite finished with World 1 yet, but I'm starting to warm up to this game a bit.  Levels 1-6 and 1-7 were a refreshing change of pace from the previous levels.  I'll try to spend some more time with this game tonight or tomorrow.

SHAKE SHAKE, SHAKE, SHAKE... Heheheh.
I'll join in with you guys in the next couple days if possible. The main reason I haven't been playing along is that the controller will bother my wife and she's hard at work, so I've been trying to keep her in mind when playing things in the room.

I guess HA and YEAH might be the ones you hear more, but that's the one that sticks with you.

TRY TO THE NEXT LEVEL.
