i'm very neutral on it, i have no problem with or without it but could see why it might bother some people. i think it's just meant to be a silly thing to add to the game aspect of the competition.

how far back are staff able to view logs on who submitted what to the database? would it be feasible if, having karma removed, an alternate multiplier were used for the competition based on the number of weeks or months in the past year that the member submitted anything to the database? so it would be up to a max of 52 (or 12) times whatever multiplayer staff decide on.

Karma logs are 24 hours - submission logs are for the lifetime of the database (no joke).

SOMEONE DOESN'T READ THE FRONT PAGE

The site anniversary contest, affectionately known as the PAIN YOURSELF WITH SUBMISSIONS contest. Directors were largely away for the contest this year due to various different reasons. We usually are very active with the contest with updates and prize offerings, but things kinda fell off this year due to my wife's health, so I only did reviews and some submissions - I'll let the others state their reasons if they want, but I suspect you'll learn those sooner rather than later.  Tinfoil

EDIT: ...nothing ominous about the site. Wink  Realized how that sounded, though I wish donation amounts were higher than they were.
