I remember seeing something like that before.  It's crazy what people think up sometimes.

 |D nice one Wink

Do a lot of people still wear baggy pants in the states?  From what I've seen it's becoming less and less popular.

I don't think the pants have changed, its more the average gerth of people over here has increased, thus making the same pants less baggy.

Baggy sweat pants are all over ghettos, but as far as what's popular with "preppy" people, they have fallen out of style.

^Sure they have! McDonalds now offers a salad!
Of course, this salad has more fat in it than a Big Mac! (Ranch dressing and deep fried chicken will do that to a salad.)

 |D McDonalds definitely has a bad influence on eating habits...and the sad thing is that it's expanding more and more into the European market...I live near a decent sized city in the Netherlands (lies on the border to Belgium)...and in the center of town, there are 3 McDonalds all within 1km range!!!  Not to mention a KFC, and more to follow in the future....

Do they actually ever use the full name for KFC over there?  In other words, do people know that the 'K' is for 'Kentucky'?

Little-known fact about KFC: Originally, KFC wasn't just chicken.  The first one had "Kentucky Fried Chicken" on one wall of the outside, and "Kentucky Roast Beef" on another.  They used to do both.  I'm not really sure why the beef got the axe.

Thanks for the background history Wink

I do know it's called Kentucky Fried Chicken (I also lived in the states for several years)...I use the the abbreviation and full name interchangably...never really pay much attention to it Wink  As far as the people from around here are concerned...I can't remember whether it's KFC or Kentucky Fried Chicken that they use...it's usually just McDonalds Wink since that's about 5 doors down the road, and is usually packed, whereas KFC is usually pretty empty...I'm surprised they're still open Wink

Didn't they officially change the name a few years back to hide the fact that they sold "Fried" food.  I hope people aren't really that stupid!!
