Hey now,

I'll take a break once I've learned whether or not my mortgage is safe, or I have to sell my house. Mortgage company thing is a fiasco, but if I do actually have to sell my house I have decent equity in it. My wife and I are also considering declaring bankruptcy to deal with the backlog of bills that occurred once she got too sick to work on a regular basis, which would save us from selling the house.

Fun times.  Undecided

Sorry to hear that. I recently ended up with an extra Steam code for Freedom Planet you can have if it would help take your mind off things.

Appreciate it, but all good. I'll just be happy once things are sorted out so we can finish setting up the other room and turn my current game room into a library.

A Skylanders library, right?

I hope not that would be horrible. Should be a Disney Infinity library.

Disney doesn't need any more of your money; give it to ActiVision instead. Well, actually ActiVision probably doesn't need any more of your money, either. It just doesn't need it less than Disney doesn't need it.

I don't own a single Disney Infinity item/game.

And if you know what's good for you, you never will.

Quote
With that being said, I suspect Disney Infinity 3.0 will consume my life. Damn Star Wars.

I was actually considering trying the Star Wars one out... but then I saw the figures. Man, did they make them look lame with that rounded-off blocky cartoony deal like they did with the Marvel figs. No offense, but I can never take a Star Wars "toys-to-life" game seriously when the Darth Vader figure looks like this:

My God, former-Anakin... WHAT THE HELL DID THOSE DISNEY BASTARDS DO TO YOU?!

[...] I do like the look of the figures better then the Skylanders figures.

Well, that figures... so to speak. No accounting for taste.  Tongue

All right, time to give the Skylanders/Infinity skirmishes a rest for now.

Picked up a few things here and there:

- Skylanders Trap Team King Cobra Cadabra variant figure: picked this up for free with a preorder of the Dark Skylanders Superchargers starter set for the Wii U at G*meSt*p. You see any retailer offering a similar promotion for the Star Wars Infinity starter set? Huh?! Me no think so! BTW I wonder if this particular figure is voiced by Billy Dee Williams? Oh wait, that was Colt 45, never mind...

- New Super Mario Bros. Deluxe and Croc 2 GBA carts

- Super Mario Advance 2: Super Mario World GBA cart

- Action Replay GBA cheat-code thingy

- Jet Force Gemini cart with manual

Aaaand back to you.

Cheesy

I know this was awhile back but for some reason I missed this one. Great find on the Dark Souls Design Works. Been wanting to pick one of those up. Can't wait for Dark Souls 3. I didn't enjoy Bloodborne as much as Demon/Dark Souls series.

Same here. I don't have a PS4, but did play some Bloodborne at a friends. I prefer the Souls series, and can't wait for 3. Also, Dark Souls II Design Works comes out in November. Cheesy

Not technically games, but they are for the PSP (except the Blu-Ray)...

These were from Poundland. They're all sealed! Cheesy (£1 each)

Back when I went to the MGC I was looking at a Demon's Souls DE, but it was really pricey there. My friend mentioned that he had one that he'd be willing to sell me. Fast forward to last week, he gives a really good price on it. It came in yesterday and he even included an extra gift! I really have some of the best friends around.

Now the only one I am missing is the Bloodborne CE, at least until Dark Souls III comes out. Cheesy

They have been posting tips and talking about the work that went into getting the game on floppy.
My favorite pic so far was a guy calibrating his gravis pad to play the game on his 486.

Hey guys - I don't post much anymore but I found something that I've never seen before.   Standard green Luigi Bros. case, no artwork, only the white sticker on the front.    Maybe a case for a replacement Super Luigi Bros. U game?    I couldn't find anything about a recall or defect that would require this.    Any help would be appreciated!   Thanks!
