Solid all around Metal Fro.  Forgot Deus Ex came out on Wii U.  Duke wasn't a fan but I enjoyed it very much.

While picking up giftcards for my brother at the last minute, I found this in a Rite Aid clearance bin:

I had just been thinking about picking it up online, so I was glad to rescue it from clearance bin hell, instead.

^^ Nice!  I'll have to be on the lookout for that one, I bet it's either an interesting, unique experience or a total hot garbage mess Tongue

I haven't played the Deus Ex games, but I've heard good things, and this particular entry in the series seems to have reviewed well, so hopefully it won't disappoint!

Here's my small Goodwill take from this afternoon:

My decent finds at the pawn shop.  A couple dupes that I've added to my sale/trade list, as well as a couple I didn't have:

And my purchases at the game store nearest me:

^ MetalFRO I've never gotten my copy of TT Superbikes to work Sad   probably need to spend more time with the disc re-surfacer.

You know that is based on a real life race on the Isle of Man? It's intense. Can you imagine taking a corner at 170mph on a liter bike and getting all wobbly on the landing? What about overtaking a helicopter on the straights?

Here is a video of the real thing, it's worth watching:

I haven't been commenting much on the Small Scores lately, I thought is was funny Bil got a Xbox One and no one said much, find a listing of SNES games though and everyone freaks out  Tongue

shaggy got a Neo Geo which is awesome. Does he like the clicky stick I wonder?

I actually got some gaming stuff for Christmas this year. At this point in my life, this is rare. For the most part it's just me looking out for me when it comes to collection growth. This year was different though, maybe I've finally convinced the family I like collecting games?  Cheesy

8 year old nephew sent me this game. I'm teaching him early evilhappy    I have no idea why he chose this particular one, but cool none-the-less.

Wife got me a Halo Mega Bloks figure, she's always good about buying game stuffs for me

Minecraft isn't too much of a thing in our house. But I got the book from the 5 year old that we watch and my wife got the collection box from someone......

....5 year old already got to it I see.

bombatomba bought me some games on Steam!

....I think it was mostly for Darkstar One, because we share a love of space combat games. I am pretty excited to try it out, thanks bomba!

I don't think it's related to the movie 'Dark Star' though  http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0069945

I'm sure that makes no sense why I would bring that up but I've heard about that movie a few times lately so I wondered.

My sister sent me both a Star Trek game and the 25th Anniversary VHS collection. This is totally awesome. I had all the movies before but not in the cool collectors box, it came with pins and everything.

Has this neat placard.....

Been awhile since I've posted.  All of my extra spending money the last 6 months or so had been diverted into saving for a house (which is now complete) so it felt good to make a pickup again, even if the prices weren't some amazing smokin' hot deal.  Gradius V was $36.99.

^^ Awesome shmup pickup, Slowman.  Both good games, though I must say, despite the higher price for Gradius V, it's worth it.  I've put a ton of time into it over the years.  Excellent high-energy soundtrack, to boot!

I was not aware of that, but that's cool to know!  I've picked up a number of "crotch rocket" bike racing games on the PS2 and Xbox lately, so it will be interesting to play some of them like this, and the MotoGP games.  I always enjoyed watching motorcycle racing on TV versus car racing, because of the extra talent/skill involved in managing not only the bike, but also the center of gravity and weight distribution with taking corners, etc.  Plus watching them scrape the concrete a little bit with their thick knee pads as they take corners - it's a bit of a nail biter Cheesy

Some nice stuff there - I'm not into Minecraft, but that's a neat set.  And loving that Star Trek VHS set - very cool.

I believe I mentioned it on here before. I was looking to buy a Gorf cab. It didn't look as good as I was lead to believe and it has something wrong I can't diagnose...

The owner touched base with me recently. I'm getting it for free. Just need to get it dropped off at my parents place.

So I now own an arcade cab Cheesy that doesn't work Cry

I noticed it right away and you know what?   I actually like it.  I thought it would be annoying but it isn't and I like the feel of it.

Christmas stuffs!

Very happy to get this boxed.....unfortunately it didn't come with any cables so I can't play the thing.  My wife bought it on ebay and the seller made no mention of the cables missing...What a great guy.

Finally got Dragon Warrior back.  I accidentally sold it a few years ago.

A bunch of random SNES games too.  Is Drakken any good?

Some nice grabs, RetroRage!

I had a scant few minutes moments to pop into a game shop before meeting some old friends for dinner this evening. Thankfully, my brief visit paid off!
