Here are my pickups from the weekend. The Game Gear games were stupid cheap so I figured why not pick them up as you don't see boxed games all that often (and 2 are factory sealed).  TRAG and Blender Bros were both marked way under eBay prices so they were welcome finds. Everything else was from a toy show yesterday.  The one bag is just a bunch of manuals / game inserts and the other bag was marked as various 80's figures.  I picked it up mostly for the 2 Battle Beasts in it.  Also grabbed a "budget He-Man" and a nice vintage Diecast Voltron. Stubbs and Flicky are both missing the manuals but were both good prices so I couldn't pass them up.

Here are my pickups from the past few months. I picked up more game related items than games themselves. Merchandising! Merchandising! Where the real money from the movie game is made! At least that's what a short gremlin once told me.

Top Gun and the two PS2 controllers were thift finds. Really no luck for me finding cool things in the wild. Everything else is online finds from here on. Really can't wait to sit down and read Console Wars.

Well, I had a bit of a Star Fox kick recently. Posted below are the results of this recent madness.

Both GC games I already owned, but now I got the original "Black Label" versions. SNES and N64 Star Fox games I had loose but now have them CIB. Star Fox 2 is a custom box, cart insert tray and game cart all purchased separately on ebay to make a mock CIB game. The cart is a playable version of the SNES Classic ROM.

I love the adorable Arwing that comes with Starlink. Also got Star Fox 64 and Star Fox 64 3D kiosk demo carts and two versions of the Star Fox game watch.

World of Nintendo plushies and figures. Also Amiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiibos.

At the very top is a Star Fox 64 promo VHS tape from Nintendo Power. A Star Fox Adventures Target pre-order exclusive figure, Johnny Lightning Star Fox 64 die cast car, Star fox Adventure air freshener that is part of a Circuit City pre-order bonus and the official Star Fox 64 OST CD.

All the Star Fox Nintendo Power cover issues.

And lastly, a Star Fox Super Weekend lapel pin. This was given to anyone who participated in the 1993 event.

I got it on ebay. The pins are pretty common and not too expensive. I just bought it because it's got a cool little story to it.

Here are my most recent pickups from the last couple of weeks.

Picked up a GameCube with the box and manuals off of eBay.

I picked up some games for it in a couple different lots off of eBay as well.

I had two games come in from limited run games. I’m still waiting on Accounting+ for PSVR, so hopefully that shows up in the next few days.

I also picked up some PS2 games. I found these locally at different thrift stores and what not.

Lastly I found a PS1 longbox copy of War Hawk for $5. It has a bunch of stickers on it but I’m hoping I can clean that up. It even came with the manual.

One of my local pawnshops that's badly overstock basically marked all their portable games down to nothing so I got all this for $28.

Nintendo DS (all boxed games are CIB and I wasn't charged extra for the GBA game): $2 each.
Gameboy/GBC: $3 Each.
PSP Game (also CIB): $5.

Hey now! Time to show off my meager scores from the last month:

$2.49 each

$1.49 each

$7.99

$3.99 each for the games, $2.49 for the collector coin

CIB Taiwanese Game Boy Color, $24.00

CX-80 Trak-Ball, $7.99

The item below the trak-ball is a Pro-Lite KB-10 keyboard. I bought it because it has a plug that appears to be compatible with the Atari 2600. After further research, however, I found that it's used to program a certain model of LED sign. None the less, I've decided to keep it, and see if it might actually work with my Rainbow Junior. Wish me luck...

...'Late

P.S. tune in tomorrow when I show off a find with a rather odd story behind it. Until then...

...'Scuse.

EDIT: Sadly, the story I was gonna tell today was dependent on a few things falling into just the right places... which, unfortunately, didn't happen. Now I know you're all disappointed, but not nearly as disappointed as I was when things ultimately didn't pan out. My apologies for getting your hopes up...

Grabbed a couple new PS2 games for the collection today. Wasn't familiar with Gadget Racer before today. Looks like it could be a fun little racer similar to Beetle Adventure Racing. The Sim City 2000 guide puts me at 385 strategy guides now too.

Not that anyone cares, but the tank-combat PS2 game Seek and Destroy is also a Choro Q series game, originally released as Shin Combat Choro Q in Japan.

ANYway, I'm done boring y'all with my extensive knowledge of irrelevant nonsense; I'm off to listen to my fave Metallica tracks. I wonder which song I should start off with...  Wink
