If you guys want, I can kick it back to Beginner. Standard is quite tougher than I thought and Beginner seems to be the normal setting anyway.
I assume the other 2 courses are also Beginner?

Current standings are posted in the main post. Douglie007 is the only racer to log any scores so far. Remember, the 9th is the last day to log F-Zero scores and you MUST log a score to participate in the Battle Royal at the end of the month.  Doug, since you posted a time for White Lands II, and you came in 1st place, I am giving you credit for the achievement for finishing the Queen League.  You didn't post times for the other tracks you raced on in the league, so you left some points out there.  Please check the initial post to see how you can earn more points.  Let's get racing!  Smiley

https://www.twitch.tv/retro_old_school/v/105320133 https://www.twitch.tv/retro_old_school/v/105053484  here are the 2 twitch streams I have done, I am getting better.  I had to fix my cart, the battery leg came off so I used some duct tape and boom its saving my times.  Smiley also if you use the boost around a jump, the air time you loose speed.  so its almost worth passing jumps for better time.

I'm happy that you guys are streaming. It's really cool and fun to watch. With that said, I don't have time to watch all the videos and grab scores, so please submit pics

Started playing....did REALLY poor. You guys should have no trouble killing me on this one.

I really liked watching you struggle through Port City, finally pulling it out after several tries, and seeing your elation. Smiley  I always feel that with this game, no matter how many times I crash out, I always want to keep going back for more.

Yep, so save states please. I know you did not use one in your video, but you mentioned not knowing whether or not they were allowed, so I did want to clarify. Wink

I'm pulling your scores and will put them up where appropriate.

Hint for everyone:

1.  All of the cars are different, so try different ones out. Blue Falcon is the most balanced, yellow has the fastest acceleration, but worst turns; green is the best in turns, but not the fastest, and pink has best overall top speed and not the best turns.  They all feel and play different, so there may be one that fits your playing style most.

2. Use shoulder buttons in turns for better handling!
