I've been to one Dbacks game. I work in the travel industry now and America West gave us free tickets to thier suite for the Brewers Dbacks game last year when the Brewers won 12-1. They flew us down from Wisconsin for the day, had a blast, and thought BOB is one hell of a good park!!

We're both from WI.  You should take me next time....  Yeaaaaa

Figured I would bump this, with all of the baseball going on, and with the NBA season coming to an end soon, this will probably be something even I talk about.

How about them D' Backs Shocked Brandon Webb is on fire!
And my Oakland A's are up and down, but after the all star break is normally when they kick it into high gear.

Still way too many games to be played though.

After the last 7 game stretch, I'm starting to believe not.  In 7 games against the Yankees and Red Sox, they went 2-5.  I went to the game yesterday and it was disgusting.

We went into the 8th down 5-3 (but still in it) and then proceeded to walk 5 batters and hit one, walking home 3 runs.  You can't do that against any team in the majors, let alone the fucking Red Sox.

At least they are still 2 and 1/2 games up on Chicago and still have the best record in baseball.  This upcoming series against the White Sox is crucial.

I think while the Tigers are good, ultimately, they will fall out of first place. Mostly due to the lack of vetern pitching. I could be wrong mind you, but I guess I see the Chi Sox taking first over.

Bonderman needs to be more consistant for them.  Even with the best record in the AL, I'll honestly be surprised if they even make the playoffs.

Oh - And Todd Jones needs to tighten up.  2 blown saves in a row is NOT a good thing for a closer.

I think the Tigers pitching is for real. After the 3 games with the Brewers, who have a very powerful offense, there pitching was outstanding. I think they are  here for the long haul, Reds...not so much.

I like baseball.  It's especially exciting when the goalie scores in the 90th minute, and everybody screams "TOUCHDOWN!"  It's as exciting as the Curling World Championships.

...

Wait, this is the sport where they swing the stick, right?  |D
