Welcome aboard moonraker_fats. It sounds like you have some nice collecting goals (Castlevania is a fantastic series). You will find an excellent community of folks here.

I wish we could make the Collectorcast more often, but life and costs get in the way. Thanks for the compliments!

Welcome, moonraker_fats.  It's always nice to find other former/current military folks into collecting.  And I loved me some Moon Patrol as a kid.

Welcome! Where in central IL do you live? I lived there for a few years and know a few good spots.

Decatur area, dead center of the state

We may be able to help mitigate the costs portion of it here shortly...

Hello every 1,
Im Chris From Rotherham UK. (is it ok for UK users to use the forum?)
I've been collecting video games since 1988, so quite early. till 1995 when I discovered alcohol & partying lol
I started collecting again in about 2007.
I'd guess I have the basis of what could be a great collection.
Back when I was buying, you could buy a Boxed mint condition Nes with like 10 or 15 boxed games for £20!!
Anyway I hope to post on here as often as I can (i'm not that sure how to use forums)
My gaming history is as follows-
Sinclair ZX Spectrum Fave game- Chucky Egg
Spectrum +3 fave game- Great Escape
Sega Master System- Fave game- Wonderboy Monster Land
I'll stop now with this... I guess there is a thread for favourite games and relise there becomes too many systems to list

Hello everyone, my name is Pichu (well online it is) and I'm also a Wisconsinite. I've mainly stuck to racketboy for my gaming forums but hey I've been using the colllection tool here (which is excellent) for so long I might as well join the community.

I am aiming for a complete U.S. N64 collection, but games only for now and I just want the cartridges since I feel like obtaining good condition boxes/manuals will be that much harder. Baby steps.  Cheesy My other goal is to get a complete Dr. Mario collection, again not going for CIB but I just might since it's not that large.

I'm super psyched for the Midwest Gaming Classic since I can't really get out east or west for some of the bigger conventions, and I never even realized there was one right here at home.

Lastly, Pokémon...pretty much embedded within any budget I draw up, automatically.

Hey Pichu, I recognize you from racketboy! Two of our members just recently completed their US N64 sets. If you need any tips or collecting info talk to pwpcody or thegrue. I'm sure either one would be happy to help you in your quest.

The forum's here to basically post and chat about anything you want. We have plenty of members from Europe and abroad - we're US-centric, but we have more games in the database from Europe than US, so we don't play favorites. Tongue
