I got 91% on my Sociology test...

I didn't study much. I picked the most left-wing/liberal/anti-American answer on all the questions that I didn't know the answer to.

I really dislike when I pull in to Quick Trip and the lot is full, but someone's backing out and I was there first, then some shitbox takes the space. This happened twice this morning. Damn QT for having such small parking lots!

Back from work, straight into doing more scans. I told one of my friends I had done about 140 scans and he said I should be doing more productive things with my time. What could possibly be more productive than helping RF Generation?  laugh

I think it's going to rain. First time since... last time.

My friend at work is getting really stressed for lots of genuine reasons. He's going away for a week to see his parents, but his neighbour's door was kicked in while they were out. He's obviously worried about that. The trouble is his door has about ten locks on it... but they can only be locked from the inside. Two can be locked from the outside.

*Goes to do more scans*

I think I just got a really bad grade on mine...My proffesor based his exam on the readings which I didn't do and half of it was in-class essays which I suck at. And he seems to be teaching sociology rather than spewing liberal facts at me. It provides for much more relevent class time but also much more work.

Wow. I'm shocked.

Great. Last night dad said we would be going to Cornwall at 7.30 this morning. So I was up at 6am, spent an hour waking up, then got ready to go out. I had my shoes on and my handheld games ready to go by 7.30am.

Where was dad? Still in bed.

"*Grunt* I think we'll go at 9am, I don't have to be there until 1pm."

I need to do that too.  I should have done it 2 weeks ago, but I keep forgetting to while I'm still at school.

I drove to Cornwall and back today, a 500 mile round trip. Dad had a meeting with some people. When we got there they were standing outside the factory because they didn't have the keys and were waiting for someone to bring them. So we went for lunch with the two men. The businessman seemed like a "Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast" kind of guy. They seemed a little untrustworthy at first but they were ok in the end. After two hours of lunch and lots of phone calls later we found out the guy with the keys had "broken down" somewhere. But he would definitely be there at 3:15pm. Of course, he eventually turned up at 4pm.

It took 3 hours 50 minutes to do 260 miles there. I remember the days when we had a cottage down there. It took mum 4 1/2 hours to do 216 miles. On the way back the satnav bleeped and showed a traffic warning on it. Dad and I were arguing about how accurate it is, so we missed the last turn after the signs saying "This road closed between here and here". Bugger. So we were sat in a traffic jam for an hour and a half. At the start of the queue I saw a red Aston Martin Vantage. Nothing special. Except I saw the same car 100 miles later on a different motorway, same number plate. I did all the driving with no breaks and spent most of the time in Cornwall in the car playing on my DS. I think it took about 5 hours to get home.

Something that confused me while I was there - We filled the car up at a Total petrol station. It was right next door to an Esso station. Not even across the road from each other, they just had a brick wall between them. Total was 90.9p/litre and Esso was 91.9p/litre. When I got back home I checked the local prices and they were at 96.9p/litre.

You can tell it's Friday night. We stopped at a big supermarket when we got home where there was a huge group of chavs knobbing about in front while their friends who look slightly older were inside trying to buy alcohol. It's also a meeting point for knobby chavs in knobby crap cars to show each ova's mota powah!

If you're still reading, I'm rambling because I'm tired but buzzing and had a mind numbingly boring drive home. I had to listen to a football game on a crackly AM radio station which kept hissing louder and quieter.

Where's that beer gone?
