I worked 12:00-3:00 today.  thats not that much, but I love where I work. I might be one of the only remotely sane people there.

Sounds just like where I work. They're all officially nutters.

Edit: Speaking of which, I just remembered I'm working tomorrow. It's been kind of sucky recently. I'm losing my job at the end of September anyway.

well It sucks where I work because most of the cool people are moving away and going to college.  Im stuck with all these old ladies that yell at random customers. its entertaining to watch them.  some new people are being hired though so that might be cool.

Found out a couple hours ago one of my grandmothers died.
I guess on the upside it was the one i wasn't very close to.

Unfortunately it means that my grandfather will probably be following shortly.

I can only hope my other (5) grandparents [divorce and remarraige was popular with my family...] can keep on kicking for quite some time...

I know that like every other post on here is made by me, but whatever.

for once its good. an Idea for a book that doesnt involve muppets.

elvis presley, john lennon, freddy mercury, brad delp, and syd barret are all dead rockstars, but they never really died.

extra terrestrial forces kidnapped them and replaced there bodies with look alikes.

in the year 2082, rock and roll is practically dead, and a combination of new age, punk rock, and rap rise to the top of the charts and there is no rock and roll left. the extra terrestrials bring them back just in time to save them from the evil forces of crappy music and save the music with there revolutionary classic style. crappy music is finally destroyed once and for all, and the rest of forever is spent with those the aliens put up to the status of "rock gods"

good idea, hey? of course i'd have to work out some differences, like I dont believe that any of them could drum (guess I'll have to wait until lars dies! jk) and all of them are very different.

Lars??? nah. John Bonham and Keith Moon are two perfectly good already dead drummers you could use. I'd drop Brad Delp. I love Boston but they weren't the most productive bunch. And Syd Barrett was more famous for being a loon than for any real musical contributions... well except for inspiring Roger Waters.

yeah, thats good, especially the brad delp part mainly because I wanted to have the aliens come to earth through guitar shaped spaceships but didnt want to have an equal amount of references for each band/person.

Hello?! Galveston Hurricane of 1900? Essentially leveled Galveston Island and made it so that Houston became the dominant Texas city rather than Galveston. Have a history lesson.
