Bully- No more

OK am I missing something here with Rockstars next video-game scapegoat. Months of controversy from anti-bullying groups, which to be fair could be a genuine argument if they'd actually bothered to check the game out and realise it's not actually about being a bully. But that's by the by, I was looking on Amazon and noticed Bully is listed as  Canis Canem Edit, after a bit of searching it turns out Rockstar have bottled it and changed the name. Personally I don't think there's a problem with a name, but the masses obviously do.

I was just wondering what everyones opinion is on this .

Eh, game looks interesting but it's probably just got boring repetitive gameplay. Now due to the fact this involves giving swirlies I still may need to check it out.

I think it's just the European release that they changed the name and the US version is still called Bully.

Yeah, sorry about that Kyle, I should have put that in there. Anyway I noticed in Game they had some empty boxes on the shelves, you know, to pre-order the game and they say Bully on. I think I'll go down and ask for one for keep-sake purposes, same to with the latest issue of Gamesmaster their giving away loads of promotional stuff which all states Bully as the title. Could all be worth keeping hold of.

How can you hate Rock*? What did they do kill your family over money and now you have to go on a punisher-esque rampage to get revenge?

Damn I seemed to have pissed off all the Rockstar fanboys.

I hate them becasue GTA 3-15 are all the same game. They hurt the game industry with "Hot Coffee". I think it is lame that they had to do a recall becasue you need a cheat device to hack the game but it still hurt the industry.

I do like Smugglers Run and I bet the Table Tennis game is good.

Oh pish posh, the GTA games are all the same but they're all awesome. I mean Madden has been doing it forever as has everyone, technologies change so the games change, but I bet if the NES was still a system we'd be up to Mario 24 and it'd be like all the other Mario NES and people would still buy it and play it because it's an awesome game.
As far as "Hot Coffee" you know they just got screwed, sure they shoulda removed the code but who would have know all that crap would happen.

Of course you are right, I am a bit of a, if not Rock*, GTA fanboy so I'm of course going to try and say you're wrong. Hmmm, I'll just end this by saying PS3 is awesome and every other system in the world should be scrapped to make parts for even more PS3s .

I played some of GTA II and I didnt like it. I agree with you about Madden. Buit I didnt say I liked EA did I? Plus I think sports games are different.
