I'm surprised that it doesn't have a Western release yet - I played a demo of it a while back.

Technically, it's bondage. It's part of a "punishment" mini-game. Again, discussion for a separate thread about sexuality in Japan.  

The image above is a completely separate game, also released by NIS in Japan. It's slated to be released in February 2015 in the West. It goes by 2 names, so I'm sure he'd take either.

He asked about being able to post about that particular Vita title since it was one his brother had been playing. I told him he could post Adult material in the future as long as he put it behind an appropriately tagged spoiler, so that it was up to the user to view. The games industry has its own "dark" corner, if you will, and it's not something I'm willing to completely censor as it's a legitimate genre outside of the US. I understand as well that we have members that are sensitive to that type of material, so I just ask to hide it away if you wish to post it, and try to keep public discussion about it "clean".

Yeah, it is a pretty crazy game. I have seen some other content within some other Japanese games that would blow some minds in our culture as well.

In any case, the original game to guess is also for VITA, and also from NIS.

Looks more like Borderlands than Destiny, but the skin graphics scream Valve. Certainly Unreal Engine-based.

It is neither Borderlands nor Destiny, though Borderlands was absolutely the misdirection I was going for. Success!

Hint: This is a more well-received sequel to an ambitious first game that didn't quite hit the mark critically.
