It has Pro Yakyuu in the title, but I will not accept that answer, as there is a key word missing that identifies this particular franchise in both Japan and North America (that's a hint!).

Jikkyou Powerful Pro Yakyuu Major League, also known as MLB Power Pros here in the States. First non-Japan release of the series, if I remember correctly, and one of the longest running series in video game history. Releases since 1994, on almost all systems available in Japan. I've had to review just about all of the Jikkyou Powerful titles in the database, so I was aware of what it was.  Grin

Still think it's hilarious that the "Powerful" series actually retains its poor Romanized translation in Japan, "Pawapuro", as the characters are known as Pawapurokun.
