Holy crap, I'm really going all-out with my Jim Butterfield cosplay. I've already picked up a red long-sleeve dress shirt, now I'm planning to grow my beard out, and then when it gets to the right length I'll do a little facial topiary.

I'm planning on doing a little creative license with the cosplay, though; I'll try to keep y'all posted on my progress.

There's only one Pokemon I really care for... and it's this guy:

Apparently Zag and I share two things in common. Our love of Optimus Prime and our (lack of) love for Pokemon.

Saw a box of the large Christmas crackers at Target the other day and laughed.  Has anyone in the USA seen these local before (we would call them poppers)?  I was always under the impression that these were a UK (and UK commonwealth) thing.  Normally we only have the small ones filled with confetti and ribbons (which are extremely loud, but don't have hats and other crap in them).  I'll keep an eye out when they go on clearance.

When I started reading that, I thought you were talking about crackers as in the food. Then you got to the part with confetti and ribbons, and I thought "those Brits really do like to eat pretty awful things". Then I realized what you were actually talking about.
I've never seen big ones, just the little ones that are maybe 3/4 inch in diameter. How big are the big ones, they sound pretty cool.

the ones we usually have are around 1-2 inches wide and come with little toys, paper crowns or hats, or other random prizes in them. typically two people pull on it, one for each end. though i don't think everyone does it this way some people will have the prizes inside go to the person that comes out with the bigger end (kind of like breaking a wishbone).

Christmas threads kind of slowed things down, and you stopped posting in the thread because you wanted to hit the mark. Might as well just get over with it.
