I don't have Xbox live so my Halo 2 multiplayer experience is maybe a dozen split screen get togethers.

It's probably just as well I don't have it. if I did I'd most likely be playing several hours every night.

"have a chance"? What are you talking about? You won a few games in our last session. And you were only off by 1 or 2 kills on several others. You're definitely getting better at the game.

I'm working on it. I'm happy to hang close and squeak out a couple wins.

Rocket Ball!

That is a pretty awesoem game.

I played it a couple of times with people and that ball can really get blown WAY away rmo the persons body.
Where did you play?
I think we only played on Midship when we did it.

Iz, it was an offline 5 player system link game last night.

We played it on Relic, Turf, Burial Mounds, Coagulation, and Midship.

I liked it on Relic the best.

that's because once that skull hit the wide open beach it was nearly impossible to hang onto it for more than a second before 4 rockets were coming right at ya.

we played it on Backwash too.

the King of the Hill match on Coagulation that turned into a smoldering pile of burning vehicles was pretty amusing too.

I sucked last night, well until that last Team Slayer match on Backwash.

You definitely made the best use of the sword and shotty on Backwash.

It's too bad that we tried that CTF game on Zanzibar where you have to have your flag at home to score. That style of CTF game is just not suited for 2 vs 2. The other CTF on Beaver Creek worked out, though, because it makes the game more of a race when you turn off the "flag must be home to score" option.

I think that team slayer can be a lot of fun. We should have tried it when Jim was there. An interesting set up would have been you and me against Jim, Ray, and Robbie. I'm curious to see how that would have turned out.

If we can get 6 players the next time we play, I think that the CTF variants would play out a lot better. We also need to try Assault, Territories, Team King, and others.

yeah, it was a little dull just standing there with the flag waiting for Ray to find ours.

The other variant of CTF that we didn't try was alternating offense/defense. That's where there's only 1 flag and teams take turns going on the attack/defense and have to score a capture within a certain time limit. That might still work with 2 vs. 2.

Played a few games last night.... I was RUSTY !

I did feel really good however because my actions won us a big team battle game on Coagulation Smiley

My new big team battle rank is 26.

My clan has been really busy and the clan rankings are :

Minor = 20

Major = 17

|D

Now I plan on being a 30 in Team slayer soon. I am currently a 26 , but never play the list.....

I thought you were a 26 in BTB before?

I played a few matches yesterday but nearly ll the games logged on my acount in the last week to 2 (or more) is my younger brother.

I am thinking about letting him go into matchmaking too.
I don't really care about my rank that much i can always get it back. And it would be interesting to see what level of player he can really handle. He seems to think beating a level 20-28 players in training means he can beat them in general.

He does do some pretty sweet stuff every now and then though.

Heads up he uses a different icon than me. I have a few different ones he might be using but i almost ALWAYS use the 2 tone background with the gold Triforce.

Thanks for the heads up.

I have been sitting on my 25 for a few weeks. It was 1 win away from the 26 so I decided to play last night and get it over with. Wink
