I went to a Mini show today.

Brooklands used to have a big oval track for speed tests.

Mini police car.

Some Mini Shorties. These are normal Minis that have been modified into even smaller convertibles.

Oops!

There was a hill climb which ended at something like 1:8 at the top. All the Minis that tried made it to the top. Some struggled more than others, though.

This Mini suddenly changed colour halfway up. Tongue  The two photos were very similar, so I made a gif. Smiley

It is next door to Mercedes Benz World. The tri-star on top turns around.

Mercedes Mclaren SLR, through a fence from a distance. Grin

I didn't really take many pictures. Most of them were from the bottom of the hill climb, where it seemed all the tall people were pushing to the front and the short people were at the back.

I thought this was pretty funny:

Having a bit of fun with my telephoto. Click the photo for a bigger one. I was about 1/4 mile away.

Nice. What zoom are you using?

Oh and, is that in the UK or New Zealand? (I forgot where you are right now)

It would have been awesome if the guy with the camera in the photo was taking a picture of you at the same time.

Sigma 50-500mm. It's a lot sharper since I sent it in for repair but it's still a little soft. A lot of it is down to atmospheric distortion over long distances, though.

That was in Piha, West of Auckland.

He wouldn't even have known I was there. Smiley I liked how I can see he has the same camera bag as me. Same colour as well. He has a Canon but I can't tell which one.
