Gonna pay my respects to Olivia Newton-John by watching her magnum opus... which, obviously as everbody knows is Xanadu.

I might also watch The Legend of Billie Jean, which features the theme-- oh, wait, that was sung by Pat Benatar...
THE facepalm

Oh great, now I'm worried about how Pat Benatar is doing... BRB

Still been working on Law and Order: SVU, and I think I'm up to the 17th season. Taking a short break from that to burn through the new season of Cobra Kai which I'm already enjoying a fair bit.

^Yep, I tend to watch Friday The 13th and Part 2 quite a bit.

Those were the two that featured Jason before he donned his signature goalie mask, aren't they? I guess that makes you an anti-masker...

ANYway, check out the two guys admiring the big unit between Tails' legs:

And Amy is getting ready for... ummm... yeah.

And you can tell from his horrified expression that Chris is gonna need years-- nay, decades of counseling after this depraved adventure.

Needless to say, I'm currently marathoning Sonic XXX-- errr, I mean, Sonic X. The original Japanese one of course, what with it being a bit more pervy than its horrficially malformed 4Kids counterpart.

^The first was was Jason's mother, with a cameo of him coming out of the water as a boy. The second he is wearing a potato sack or pillow case running around taking care of those pesky counselors. Part 3 is when he don's the hockey mask from the guy named Shelly. I love them all but tend to run thru the first two most weekends. The wife doesn't care for the later movies, but likes these two. Ironically enough I'm watching them right now.

Ready Player One - (2018) -  B+
--> Not a bad movie; Ben Mendelsohn is a great villain.

Deadpool - (2016) -  B
--> Deadpool! Overall enjoyable, probably more so for those who read the comics first.

300: Rise of an Empire - (2014) - C-
--> A definite step down from the original 300 movie.

The Deer Hunter - (1978) - A
--> All-time classic despite the controversy regarding the historical accuracy.

Star Wars: Episode IV - VI - (1977, 1980, 1983) - A
--> Revisiting the original trilogy. Breath of fresh air forcing a political agenda on the audience.

Midnight Cowboy - (1969) - B+
--> Just checked to see that Dustin Hoffman and Jon Voight are both still alive

A Star Is Born - (2018) - A
--> Terrific performances by the entire cast.

Face/Off - (1997) - B-
--> A plot so stupid it becomes good again. The best part is seeing the two leads act as each other.

Ghost in the Shell - (2017) - C-
--> Although some scenes are nearly exact copies, it just doesn't feel the same as the original.

The Guns of Navarone - (1961) - A-
--> Classic WWII war movie. Irene Papas sadly died only 4 days ago at the moment of writing this, RIP.

Young Adult - (2011) - A
--> Great acting by Charlize Theron.

First Man - (2018) - B
--> Great biopic about the Apollo 11 mission to the moon.

Westworld - (1973) - A-
--> Yul Brynner as one of the greatest villains ever portrayed in cinema.

Midnight Special - (2016) - B
--> Strange plot but good acting.

Stan & Ollie - (2018) - B
--> Feelgood biopic about the iconic duo.

A Shot in the Dark - (1964) - B-
--> Second installment in Peter Seller's Pink Panther series. Some of the humour is a bit silly when viewing today.

Papillon - (1973) - A-
--> An epic prison escape movie, perhaps slightly too long in length.

Robin Hood - (2018) - D-
--> Somewhat lazy and unnecessary Robin Hood remake. Strange casting choices (Jamie Foxx). Ben Mendelsohn is his formidable self.

Timecop - (1994) - B
--> JCVD is a timecop!

Moonlight - (2016) - B+
--> Great acting in a movie breaking new ground.

The Conversation - (1974) - A-
--> Timecapsule movie starring Gene Hackman, John Cazale and a young Harrison Ford in a small role.

500 Days of Summer - (2009) - B-
--> Really captures that late 00's era well in an original take on the romcom story.

Frantic - (1988) - B
--> Neo noir thriller with a great unexpected story.

Internal Affairs - (1990) - B+
--> Perhaps Richard Gere's greatest villain role, not sure?

The Lost City of Z - (2016) - B+
--> Quite a tragic ending.

Ya gotta make like Sonic and run-- don't walk-- on down to...

...where we're having our annual Big Steamin' Number-Two-for-One sales extravaganza! These movements will be movin' fast, so don't miss out! We even have free chocolate soft serve and brownies for the kiddies!

Pupupi Poo is your one-stop shop for all your furry scat fetish needs!

Pupupi Poo is Number One when it comes to Number Two!

*COUGH* Needless to say, I'm still going through Japanese Sonic X, mainly so I can see things that, when taken out of context, can be quite... interesting to say the least.

HEY! Stop stealing your stalkee's-- errr, I mean, sorta-boyfriend's cartch phrases!

Speaking of Amy and sorta-boyfriends:

Looks like he's gettin' ready to hit dat at sonic speed! DAAAAAMN!!!

ANYway, I'm also going through Vice's The Dark Side of the Ring and The Dark Side of Comedy series.

Now I'm thinking of watching a classic detective show from the '70s... but which one... hmmm...

Vectumbo? Colector?

Just finished up the third season of Japanese Sonic X, AKA the blatant ripoff of loving tribute to Space Battleship Yamato. Other "tributes" I noticed included a cameo by an anthropomorphic Kimba as well as Eggman's rendition of a Zaku mech from Gundam. He also created his version of the more obscure combiner-bot Godmars, called Eggmars here, natch. He evn made his very own Mazinger Z the previous season. Needless to say, Dragonball Z isn't the only anime from which Sonic and pals have jacked elements.

And not that anyone cares, but I'd forgotten how much of a bummer this season ended up being. It was also the perviest season, as you will soon see:

I'm pretty sure that this...

...was the aftermath of this:

DAMN! He got Sonic on da tip!

Ladies and Gentlemen, the most egregious panty shot in anime history:

Yeah, I bet you're "thirsty," ya freakin' degenerate!

Meanwhile, Amy is giving Sonic the bad touch (and that's no good!):

Sonic's all like, "I NEED AN ADULT!"...

...while Amy has this song playing in her head:

And you'll never forget this scene of Tails crackin' a smile... no matter how hard you try:

Aaaaand finally, here's Dr. Eggman making a pretty basic observation about Rouge:

With all this depravity going on, it's a miracle that 4Kids had anything left to broadcast after all the edits they had to make.

ANYway, I'm currently checking out HBO's two-part documentary on George Carlin...

...because George Carlin.

I don't need any other goddamned explanation.
