There's actually a music genre called Super Ponybeat I've brought up previously. It's not that bad. It's music from the show, remixed with Eurobeat:

Oooh! Eurobeat?!

Color me there!

Here, take this comically large loaf of stale bread and leave a trail. You might get lost in there if you don't.

It's a bit late for that, I'm afraid.

I've been lost in the Eurobeat forest for quite some time now, and I won't find my way out of it any time soon.

Yes, but the pony music forest is far thicker.

Zag, I've been lost in the Eurobeat forest ever since I originally heard Dave Rodgers, wandering through an arcade. It brought me to an Initial D arcade cabinet, where two people were racing each other in a downhill race. Ever since, I've been fascinated in Industrial/Techno/Trance/Eurobeat and, as a sidenote, street/road racing and tuning. I swear, there are some nights where I want to toss some Eurobeat on the stereo and drift down certain portions of the highway around here. Grin

What would Cruxshadows fall under? I'm kind of a fan of some of there stuff and it's technoish.

Thank you, sir, for getting this thread back on track!

For now, anyway.

Speaking of which: I wouldn't mind hearing the origin stories of Redd McKnight, blklblskt, and The Maligned Leon, among others. Come on, guys, don't be a buncha rooty-poo candy-@$$es; give us the lowdown already!

blklblskt

Never heard of him.

So, the way I stumbled upon blcklblskt was when I was thinking of what I should use for my email address.  I was really into skateboarding and was riding a Black Label board, so I took out the vowels and got blcklblskt.  I hated having to give my email address to other people (not that anyone emails anymore) because of all the WTF? looks I got.

My friend once asked if I just punched the keyboard and got my user name.  I think that is a better story.

Hey now,

Thought I'd dredge this up from the depths to see if any of the newcomers will bite. Old-timers are welcome to regale us with their moniker origin tales, too.

The name "Redd" comes from my favorite comedian, Redd Foxx.

The name "McKnight" comes from a Character from a US-Made Manga called Aoi House.
